CPC Theory test learning material?

Ive booked in for my CPC theory in a couple of weeks, but Im struggling to find any learning/teaching material to help me prepare for it. I bought the book for the LGV theory test, and used an online website, but I can`t find anything for the CPC case studies theory test??

Anyone have any links?

Cheers

There are a few websites where you can find examples, however, they charge and will not really teach you more than you know. I was exactly the same but as everyone says, read that theory book because most of the cpc case studies will have questions relating to the ones in the theory book and the rest is common sense. I used just the theory book and didn’t read anything to do with the case studies and passed mine easily a couple of months ago. You’ll be fine. Study the theory book and you will pass. Good luck.

Or you can search cpc case study on eBay and purchase a disc with an interactive test to get a feel if you really want. £8.99 so not too bad.

Hope this helps.

I found the cd rom that is mentioned not very helpful.

Jonny can I ask which of these you found the best, and most alike/relevant to the test itself? Thanks

I’d say lgvtheory, the questions on it seemed to be a bit more taxing which prepared you better for the actual test.

they also offer your money back or to pay for a retest if you fail on some of the packages which to me indicates they are confident in the product (I just bought money back package)

I’ll follow up on what other people have said though - if you study the theory test questions you should have no problem with the case studies as they just seem to be rehashed in to a scenario.

good luck

I bought book off ebay but to be honest didnt learn anything from it . If you have done your theory and hazard perception already you should be fine. Most of it is common sense.

im using driving theory 4 all at the min. seems ok ? but who knows iv got my cpc 23rd may

Thanks for that, I’ve signed up for the LGV Theory and Im re-reading the Theory Book too. Ive already been caught out with a few of the height/length questions that are detailed in feet and inches in the case study, but the answers are in metres. Im guessing you cant have your phone in there with you to able to use the conversion apps or calculator   … maths was never my strong point

Like I said, the practice questions they offer are probably a bit harder than the actual test but probably prefer it that way than them being easier and then get a shock down the test centre

good luck with it all - let us know how you get on
