Gov. couldn’t care less. We can moan all we want and they’ll just keep on with the shafting
why just the hauliers?,us (now)cab drivers use fuel all day every day,cost is now £1.18 pr ltr of derv in the forest.
ok the car does 42 round town,but still gets thru £80-100 per wk.

yeah big increase but how long before the self employed guy has to call it a day because he cant fuel up his wagon or taxi or even his van and then that just opens the doors for more foreign trucks on our roads because we didnt stand up for this
This ‘‘could’’ be good timing with the general election not far off. Could be a big vote winner if one of the partys decides to stick their neck out and promise to lower or freeze tax

Cos they have changed the laws since then so that if people try and pull the same thing off they’re allowed to basically drag you away from the refinery gates to allow the wagons through.

Yeah but u can still protest at refinieries just have to get as many hauliers cab drivers van drivers to protest too and maybe the tanker drivers will join the protest maybe this country needs another fuel protest to make it sit up and listen this government need to realise we put them in place and we pay there wages so its time they listened
All we need is for tanker drivers to strike and if every drive payed x amount to fund the tanker drivers it might work but it will never happen.

It’s already gone up by around 10p a litre in the last month or so, God knows what the next increases will do.

Ever noticed how busy and permanately full supermarket fuel pumps are…trying to get people to boycott one of these big boys nationwide or even just locally would have an effect…surely even the ‘fat cat’ in his glass tower would look at his daily takeings & think ‘■■■■■ maybe i need to do something !!!..Not sure how many members on here but if everyone agreed to boycott one ‘brand’ or one ‘supermarket’ for a day, week or weekend what would that ‘brand’ do ■■?
