Who knew we had so many amateur psychologists?
Intriguing that the council rstate comment hits home and yet consistent stereotyping of policing is ignored.

Maybe that’s also a revelation about upbringing ?

Amateur, what makes you think that?
BTW, what council estate spawned prince andrew? (Non-capitalisation deliberate)
Is your real name Sheridan Bucket?

What makes me think amateur?
The quality of your work.
Prince Andrew would make an excellent council estate chav. I also know perfect gentlemen from council estates.

But my comment relates to a state of mind.

So your snobbery aimed towards council estates pertains to how they are perceived now.
Run down occupied by chavs, druggies and low life in general…(not wholly accurate btw) .

Are you ignorant of the fact that in the 50s and then the 60s when I was brought up living in a one,.the VAST majority of tenants were hard working honest families, people paying their rents diligently out of their earnings, not the social…so in that respect how can you qualify such narrow mindedness.
Perhaps you should have a social history lesson before you start labelling people and judging them from their social background. :bulb:

Maybe you’re a psychologist’s ■■■■■■■■■…amateur or otherwise. :bulb:
Obviously institutionalised,.and to the point of trivialising and readily refuting any constructive criticism of one institution that you still hold allegiance to.
Followed by tactics of bad attempts at sarcasm, insulting and belittling those who dare show what you interpret as disrespect to said institution.
(Stereotyping in it’s self, is usually based and constructed on quite a lot of fact btw.)
Hey…maybe it’s a revelation about your upbringing also eh?

The one institution I still hold allegiance to?

That would be the army.

Any disrespect shown results from your repeated bigotry and poor logic.
Yes there are bad coppers and there are bad policies, procedures… even bad laws…but your dislike of the police in general stems from your own biases.

Nah wrong again.
Any disrespect from me has been garnered from them, by what I have experienced,.seen and heard.
I do not dislike the Police perse, I’m just disillusioned by their tactics their policies, their routines, and mostly their priorities they have lost the plot and forgotten what their raison d’etre is…but in your effort to jump in and defend them at the drop of a hat, you have evidently missed that.

You don’t dislike them per se is undermined by every post you make about them

Or you could have accepted that you don’t know what he was doing and that it may have been productive and merit worthy

Instead you let your innate bias kick in and stop you behaving like a reasonable bloke. Maybe you’re aggrieved that you may have an FPN on its way

Still (to use your phrase) ‘‘Bleating like a stuck pig’’ I see.
Let it go man.
I’ll keep you posted about the FPN btw, in the meantime I won’t sleep being so… ‘‘aggrieved’’.

Will he, won’t he? Is Robroy going to get a blister?
It highlights the futility of camera policing, in regards to safety, but it’s efficiently in revenue raising.
If an alleged offence is unsafe, surely the coppers have a duty of care to immediately stop the dangerous activity; not photograph it and send an invoice, weeks later. This legitimizes the behaviour, if one is prepared to pay for the privilege.
Police lose credibility when they parrot the “It’s for safety” BS, in a feeble attempt to justify the legal theft of citizens’ money.

Thread needs more handbags

Legal theft [emoji1787]

It’s very very simple, avoiding an FPN
