Goaty:
There are specialist publications in print for container drivers, that are held with one hand !

Although a robust pair of “Crafty Curtains” is a must for “reading” them !

think i,m going to be quite good at this container lark, i can now hold my laptop in one hand never mind a magagzine

get a dashboard table mate, makes life a lot easier

dunno about a table its a bigger bed i need, never slept so much during the day as in my 2 days on containers, 40ft handball boxes seem good for a nice 3hr kip

Well…hopefully i will be joining the container game next week…just waiting for a phone call now from Elite.

Was impressed with their set up, money isn’t brilliant but it beats the dole…and the trucks are very well equipped…Microwave, fridge, tv, dvd player and Freeview in them.

There are 4 of us in the frame for 3 jobs…so keeping my fingers crossed!

freeview is what i need i think, or maybe a playstion , or a woman would be even more entertaining in passing a few hours

i have a laptop with internet dongle, i used to have a TV and a PS2, but the TV took one too many nose dives off the top bunk in my last truck

not got round to replacing it yet

You could always replace the TV with a dongle for TV - analogue and/or digital.

it didn’t watch the TV as a TV, i used to use it for watching DVD’s or playing on the PS2.

personally, i CBA to tune the ■■■■ thing in every time i stopped somewhere, so, i never really bothered with it
