Concert tour question

Can Birmingham to Zurich be done above board with one driver,no truck swap,ie load out of Brum, for Mike and the Mechanics, with Andrew Roachford, from Cuddly Toy fame, hit song in the 80`s,then non-stop to Zurich the same day,no break in between the show,so can it be done in one hit?

It doesnt matter if you have got Freddie Mercury on board, it cannot be done (legally)

its 756 miles so cant be done in one hit with one driver, would have to be done with 2 drivers if it needed to be done quickly

That was what i was thinking too,not sure how they will do it,as this firm does`nt double man.Not allowed to name them,or i will get sued.

Tell Mike that one of the Mechanics will have to put a shift in.

If it is true Toby, you are allowed to name them, but somehow I doubt it is, or you will!

Red trucks.

well they have no choice but to double man toby or they wont be able to do it.

I concur with yee,me lord, the risk of getting delayed and the fine,it will have to be two up,with smelly socks in the cab,and some ■■■■■■■.

Red trucks.

Do you mean Redburn Transfer?

Brucie Bonus for wheelnut.

How can a show fill two artics,by looking at the stage,i thought that most of what i saw would stay behind,as it belongs to the venue,by working out the volume, what does get loaded in the truck from a concert?

I have done Winterthur to Dunkerque in 10h 3mins on a Saturday, So no, you wont do Brum to Zurich in a card!

It makes me wonder where Toby hears all this nonsense, he sure hears a lot :stuck_out_tongue:

I hear voices of dead people, the pills are not working.

When i did AC/DC in 2009, we had a few Redburns on with us, and when we double manned, so did they, so what youre saying about they dont double man is wrong mate. Also, there is a lot of gear backstage that you dont see, its not just a couple of guitars and a set of drums!

i know nothing about the business, and was not knocking them, just thought how much stuff that stays with the venue.

What does the word rider or ryder stand for,the request for the artist.

I spent the weekend with some Redburn lads and we had some cracking fun in the Sterling Castle near the SEC, they were double manned and I was on my own but they took me under their wing.

The problem is Toby made a statement that is total bull crap, unless he is sat outside the gig with Batista, how does he know they are not double manned?
