The point is though - people don’t! They’re wearing masks out of fear, and assume any is better than none. It clearly isn’t the case.

Wearing a new one? You go in a shop. Come out 2 mins later. Discard mask. Go in another shop. Come out 5 mins later. Discard mask. Go in another shop. Come straight out as it’s too busy and you’re a Covid panicker so can’t be in there. Discard mask, replace with a new one… Etc. Etc…

Just isn’t going to happen that is it?

I don’t think it would be as bad as changing it after going in every shop tho - that would be taking it a bit far. As a covid panicker I never go in shops anyway - I merely bellow what I want from the door.

My wife is a medical practitioner. And according to her, that would be the way to do it correctly in accordance with the regs she has at work.

The amount of waste it would produce would be astronomical! And all needlessly. Masks are great in the right situation.

Wandering around shops is not such a situation.

As an aside, 1 in 80 or so have Covid…

1 in 2 or 3 will get cancer…

Why arn’t masks good for shops? The theory I heard was they won’t stop the smaller covid particles floating in the air but if someones walking past you chatting and launching spit into the air the mask will stop that. So not perfect but at least an improvement.

Don’t be ridiculous no way did only 147 people die yesterday. There were at least 1600 people that died at the end of their life. Their death is no less tragic yet nothing is done ( and nothing should be done) to stop everybody dying.

Covid is not responsible for a lot of the deaths directly anyway. A high proportion are due to other morbidities present - and plenty of other illnesses cause death as a result of other morbidities. Only the media don’t report those, so folk don’t worry about it…

He then stated that it was company policy. I told him it may as well be company policy to wear fishnet stockings as I’m not going to do either.

I then invited him to write “refused” on the paperwork along with the reason why with his name and I’d quite happily take it away.

He let me in.

If thats the morrisons in Bridgewater, I go there 5 days out of 7 and have done the last 3 years , I’ve never been asked to wear a mask and security are on the exit gate only.

Funny is that, because I’ve hardly seen anything of either, mainly because I can’t be arsed and I switch off.
Not just stuff on the loony side of the fence either, if Covid is even mentioned on mainstream news I just switch off also.
(Despite what the Obsessives keep telling those who don’t share their views that’‘we’ believe everything the BBC tell us. :unamused: )

Makes me wonder if decades of over prescribed antibiotics is coming home to roost with millions of ‘co-morbidities’ manifesting ,during this Fauci-Flu project? Think about it, they obviously help to destroy bacterial infections but in the process practically nuke away the guts healthy micro-flora, (the very basis of an immune system),yet when sawbones issues them like the good Pharma pimps they are, when do you ever recall being advised by them to replenish the loss; say by taking a probiotic supplement, to redress the imbalances caused by their ever increasingly-potent-scorched-earth-type-assaults on the stomach ?..I mentioned this to a GP recently, answer came their none. :confused:

Call me cynical/suspicious, but anyone might think there’s a project in play, lockstepped to compromise the collective’s immune systems. I had a recent ear infection and in the interests of experimentation, decided to spray some Colloidal-Silver in the lugs. It cleared the infection in two days flat. Result. Big-pharma denied custom, immune system preserved and a painful malady dealt with. Factor in practically a worldwide vitamin(D),(C) and (B12) deficits due to poor quality, over-sprayed-food-growing-soil, making most, non-organic foodstuffs largely a symbolic act of consumption and it’s easy to see how they could pull this stunt and hijack/re- purpose the common flu, more than likely by first weakening bodily systems with a few years of banging the annual flu-jab drum they have definitely been ramping up in recent years?

Place we go to on a daily basis in the north west, have a mask policy for drivers, but there is a flaw, as I pointed out to the one goon who is the only one to try an enforce it.

Drivers do not go into the goods in office or area, but we back on a bay, and put our paperwork at the back of the trailer. They tip it, and put the paperwork back in the same place, so no interaction is needed, however, said goon insists on drivers wearing a mask, when we are in the open space of the yard, with nobody near us, so I challenged him the other day, and the conversation went thus:

Goon: “Can you put a mask on driver?”
Me: No.
Goon: Why not?
Me: It’s not a legal requirement
Goon: It’s a site rule
Me: But your not wearing one.
Goon: I work here.
Me: And? Well what about security then, he doesn’t wear one, nor does he ask us to either.
Goon: Security works here as well all drivers have to wear them.
(Site is a multi company site)
Me: I haven’t seen any drivers coming onto the site have them on, so can I have a copy of the site rules please?
Goon: I will have to get you a copy later, but I can’t legislate for the other operators on the site. (Seemingly it can’t be a site rule if he can’t legislate then.)
Me: But you should have a copy to hand to give out on request, and as I am requesting a copy, can you furnish me with them now please?

Needless to say I didn’t get them, and am still waiting over a week later, and while he agreed with me in principal, he then went onto say he was moving sites anyhow, and it is another we go on, but I haven’t seen anyone wear one there either, so it should be interesting.

I wonder if there is a connection with drivers here who spend all day alone In a cab with only themselves for company and the paranoid rantings posted here that the government are out to get them.

If you where qualified in the field microbiology or such you may be creditable but in fact the anti mob here just sound like they like to be edgy by going against the grain.
