All you brainwashed people’s obedience is prolonging this nightmare. Sorry to say but it’s time to wake up. Turn your TV and other MSM off and you will be better off.
There is so much nonsense going on around it’s amazing people don’t see it!
But whatever you think about my post please remember that stress is the biggest killer and all they feed you with through MSM is scaremongering causing stress! Go out in nature and relax instead off listening what globalist puppets tell you to think!
All the best for all of you!
I thought I’d ask (separately) a couple of people (avid mask wearers) what was the survival rate of covid, as a percentage…
Both of them answered 80%, thinking out of all who catch it, 20% of people die. 1 in 5!
The media frenzy on this is obviously working.
Whether its 20% or 0.001% its not something I fancy having.

I fully recommend catching Covid (unless you have underlying health conditions).
It’s a very very mild disease in the vast majority of cases. Then you benefit from life long protection from the whole disease and all its variants.
Children should be having Covid parties now that they no longer have chicken pox ones.
jakethesnake:
You obviously picked a couple of dummies.
Could have been a couple on here. Clueless.
Not really, they were otherwise intelligent women. I’m not sure it’s even a question of intelligence, it’s more like they are too trusting of everything they are hearing, and the fear mongering has been too overpowering.
You can be intelligent and not up on virology tho - when david icke gets taken seriously as a spokesman you know you are through the looking glass.
So do you even think covid exists? Or is it coming from 5g towers?

My Mrs who is the worlds worst conformist and a direct opposite charavter to me wore hers around the supermarket…in case she offended anybody.
I really need to have a word.
You really do! Tell her that she is offending people who believe, wearing these germ sodden incubator’s of many respiratory ailments, that are so successful at filtering out killer bugs that they are either incinerated immediately or discarded in the carpark if no infectious desease control devices are available.
How offensive!!!

If the odds of dying from covid are low then how low are the risks of developing “respiratory ailments” from wearing a mask? About the same as being struck by a meteorite and lightning at the same time? On your way home from a big lottery win?

Maybe, maybe not. Seeing as this is a completely new virus what if in 10 years everyone who caught it starts developing health issues? Don’t automatically assume just because you get over it in a few days it’s not going to come back and bite you in the harris later. Long covid suggests there’s a helluva lot more to this virus than a cold.
And sure - maybe you could say the same about the vaccine. We will have to wait and see. But in my opinion covid is something you are better off not catching - and if wearing a mask gives me even an outside chance of avoiding it you bet your behind I’m wearing one.
Nearly there again:
If nothing else this pandemic has really shown the selfish in high definition. If you can’t wear a mast to at least try and stop this then I really pity our society.
So true, the selfish sods saying you must wear a mask to make me FEEL safe. Don’t care that you are actually damaging your own health, as long as I can justify a nonsensical policy. Crack on…

It’s not nonsensical - there are virologists who have been studying this all their lives who say masks are worthwhile. Where did you do your virology? The University of Please Yourself, California?

Another media blackout of reports from the ‘darkside’, so your point of view is the only permissable one.

Firstly it isnt a new virus. It’s a very common virus that has produced a new strain. Possibly from a bat, but probably from a lab.
The expression “Long Covid” is a silly media invention. All illnesses have the capacity to produce adverse long term ill effects. The media make out that this is unique to Covid. It most certainly is not. I had Bronchitis in 2001. I was very I’ll with it and have suffered no long term ill effects, so far at least. A friend of mine caught it about two years later and is still struggling, has developed asthma and is having no end of issues with his respiratory system. It’s just a fact that some diseases can have an adverse effect on some people. Wearing a mask is unlikely to make much difference as, though a little unscientific, my observation is that all those I know to have caught Covid have been the ones most in a panic about it and following the “rules” religiously. Yet they have still ended up with Covid. I’ve taken a far more relaxed view as I believe my rights are more important than a virus with such a high survival rate. To date I’ve been Covid free. I hope it stays that way, but I wouldnt put money on it. In 5 years’ time, everyone will have had it. Half of us will have had it and wont even know we’ve had it - which is a measure of just how deadly Covid is in reality![emoji6]
The vast majority of masks are full of germs, dropped, kept in the car glovebox, pockets with mobiles etc. Dragged out as a “badge of honour or safety”. Outside a medical environment they are pretty pointless in every other respect.
Besides, Boris says we dont need them now and politicians never lie and never get things wrong - so what is there to worry about?
I don’t think there’s any blackout LazyD - I’ve seen more of David Icke and Piers Corbyn over the last 12 months than I’ve seen of my wife.
My fave anti-vaxxers are the ones who put up signs on trains and put a razor blade in the back so when someone pulls it down with a “harumph” they take half their finger off
I understand you have ideas about the virus but what knowledge or experience of virology have you actually got? I think it is a new virus - otherwise we would have heard about it before 2019. But we can start arguing about virology all we want - neither of us have the first clue so why bother? I could be wrong, I try and listen to virologists rather than Piers Corbyn tho.
Virology is a fascinating topic by the way - one of the oldest forms of “life” on the planet, they’ve made up parts of human DNA, played a big part in the evolution of life, keep the oceans alive - there’s a book called “Virolution” by Frank Ryan that I read a couple of years ago. Great book.

So on the subject in question, the head of HSE England should have some authority.
Sorry, edited as i copied the wrong link

So don’t “re-use” masks then? Ok fair enough. Wear a new one!
The point is though - people don’t! They’re wearing masks out of fear, and assume any is better than none. It clearly isn’t the case.
Wearing a new one? You go in a shop. Come out 2 mins later. Discard mask. Go in another shop. Come out 5 mins later. Discard mask. Go in another shop. Come straight out as it’s too busy and you’re a Covid panicker so can’t be in there. Discard mask, replace with a new one… Etc. Etc…
According to a lady professor on BBC news this morning, data from PHE shows that 60% of deaths from the Delta virus from Feb through August are from double jabbed folk…
Doesn’t quite fit some peoples contributions on here does it?

Just isn’t going to happen that is it?

I don’t think it would be as bad as changing it after going in every shop tho - that would be taking it a bit far. As a covid panicker I never go in shops anyway - I merely bellow what I want from the door.

And these viral loaded, discarded hives of infection are dealt with as any other biological waste? So, wearing a mask just delays transmission until you’re in the carpark. would be a common sense thought.

I always leave a razor blade in my discarded mask - just to deter anyone from using it again.

A “media blackout”?
Why, in God’s name would there be a “media blackout”?
What is, undeniably true is that people are still dying in large numbers from Covid-19.
147 of them, yesterday.
147 families bereaved. In ONE day.
And getting a vaccination and wearing a mask around people is too much trouble?
If a 737 crashed, killing all on board. Would the media report on it?
If a 737 crashed EVERY DAY… would not there be some call for some action to be taken to stop it happening?
I was shocked to see 1500 still dying every day in the US. I think the saddest/most delusional case I’ve ever seen is an anti-vaxxer laying in bed shortly to die from covid still saying he wouldn’t have taken the vaccine.
I can’t get my head around someone like that - admitting you were wrong doesn’t make you any less of a man.
