I will however question your oft repeated mantra that the young are suffering and dying from Covid. That assertion needs to be quantified; namely the overwhelming majority of young who die or are very ill have underlying pre-existing health conditions which would most likely result in premature demise anyway. When Lewis Hamilton was diagnosed with Covid way back when did anyone seriously expect him to die from it, or did they, like me think that he’d merely have two weeks off and then be back on his A game?
Yeah I understand what you are saying and you are correct that this virus has affected the old far more than the young however not all the young have had pre-existing medical conditions.
I am in the unfortunate position of hearing about the younger ones who get seriously ill etc from my relative.
Obviously it is far more upsetting when a younger person suffers.
I still say there are far more problems with people in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’ than most realise. I only here about one hospital really and that is shocking enough.
Apparently the new omicron variant in SA is affecting people in their 30’s more than any other age group. Mainly unvaccinated I might add.

A mate of mine sent me this link after we had been talking about the reasons for the exaggeration of all this stuff and how people have swallowed it.
This vid hits the nail on the head after about the 5 min mark, covering the way the public have actually embraced being virtually controlled and told what to do, and how subservience was (and still is) the achieved agenda, and the new way forward for many, in terms of the fact that many have been convinced to the point that their ideas of freedom have changed,.and that in reality the pandemic is more or less over but the governments are hanging n to it.
It kinda reflects some of the things I have been saying,.that the pandemic is genuine,but the Govt are as sure as hell using it to their advantage by sucking the juice out of it to achieve some agenda or another.

I’m still considering the virus genuine,. I have as you know been vaccinated, I am at the moment deciding whether or not to go for the booster, I’ve heard credible (and incredible) stories against it from different people, and I’m getting grief off the Mrs for doubting the effectiveness, so it’s to be decided.
I still don’t subscribe to secret microchips and such ■■■■■■■■, so basically I’m somewhere in the middle, but I still maintain there is an exaggeration campaign underway somewhere.
It’s fairly obvious rob is bothered about it ( COVID) as he keeps going on about it , quoting articles etc , if as he claims it’s all a conspiracy then he’d not be bothered
My own opinion is if you met him in the street he’d be the one wearing 2 masks with a tube of anti bacterial hand cream in his hand
Like a lot of them they don’t like to admit they wear a mask as it doesn’t fit with the macho lorry driving image a lot like to portray ,
I base my observations on being told I need to grow a back bone / stop being a tear ■■■ (you assume rob takes no ■■■■ ) , then he’s moaning he’s the last driver out there on a Saturday night , stuck in some accident on the m5 on a Sunday

Interesting, but, not much substance.
It “looks” like the old format where two opposing sides are interviewed by someone challenging both of them to justify their positions. Its not, it is two people, with the same view point being agreed with by a third who believes the same stuff. Classic "echo chamber" stuff. . Look at the title "Neil Oliver: 'I think the pandemic is over and the government can't bare to let it go.'" Neil Oliver is an historian, isnt he? Not a virologist or owt?

You keep on saying this! You keep on saying it is being exaggerated.
WHY ?
What do you know, that we dont? What is it uniting so many countries and health professionals in perpetuating this "myth"? Countries and economies are losing out, no one is gaining, so WHY? . "Follow the money" rules show some are making money from this. And I certainly think there are more than one or two issues there. But more are losing money. The ones shouting loudest to remove restrictions of movement arent medics. It`s those who own travel, and entertainment interests etc.

This is a new situation and it is difficult to get your head around the numbers.
We have got a nasty hypocritical bunch of idiots* making (and breaking) rules, but those rules are necessary.
The current Gov is taking lots of actions to diminish some democratic oversights etc.
However
None of the above disproves the existence, severity, of the virus, and the need to be cautious and have rules.

I’ve had the booster & was very ill , my first 2 jabs were pizfer ( is that how you spell it , then the booster was novetec ( again not sure it’s how you spell it ) , I was fine with the first 2 , was as I say very ill with booster ( had doctor out in night ) , but to be fair I’m on all sorts of medication & do have a fair few days normally where I don’t feel well , but not as bad as I was for those days after I had booster
It’s something to bare in mind rob , if I knew what I knew now I’d of asked for pizfer & refused booster until they had that available

Most of what I try to reference is backed by people going out and counting real things. What any one person can see, especially a fit and healthy lorry driver, is only a snap shot of the world.
Why would serious Covid cases be on your radar? Sorry but I`ll listen to a Doctor or Nurse or a NHS statatician before I listen to you!

Please show some facts and figures. A bunch of people, all agreeing with each other isnt any sort of evidence or proof is it? I have watched vids, read links put up by You, Juddian and others. So far there is nothing Ive seen to counter the evidence that Covid is a major issue.
Are some news sites exaggerating it? Yes, but they exaggerate anything.
If they tell you that the Toon won by 12 goals to nil, and then you found out it was 11 to 1, would you think they lost?

I reckon the virus is real and it is a major problem. I have relatives who are involved in hospitals, and in various research around biomedical sciences. They are not taking any of this lightly. Showing a video of an historian and a couple of other non-medics non-scientists means nothing compared to those who actually know what they are talking about.
I really don`t understand, why you believe the figures are exaggerated in any way.
