Driver ever did that to me I’d wish them well in their new job.

  1. Though I wouldn’t know your mpg because we didnt monitor it.

  2. I never ■■■■■■■■.

  3. Best driver…(that’s if you are), makes no odds. I had genuinely good drivers all round.

  4. As you wouldn’t want to be threatened or bullied, nor do I.

  5. I walked away from a very profitable business on a point of principle so wishing someone well who thinks the firm cant manage without them, wouldn’t be a big thing.

  6. Dont infer I lie. I dont. It’s one of the reasons why the firm retained employees for decades.

I do nights out - ones where its nailed on I’ll be out like over the water or Scotland etc, but also ones like I’ve got Monday where if I get a good run I can get back but might not. I’ll do all I can to get back because while I dont mind being away, I dont need the extra £25 and given the choice I’d rather be in my own bed!

Even though I don’t go home I’d rather be parked up in our nice quiet secure yard that has a shower and comfy tea room then some Zb’ing hole lay by getting rocked like hell and some scroate nicking my diesel , load or both

I think Albion, before retirement, was a cut above the usual manager and was respected by her drivers as such

loving this thread :laughing: …as i was about to get out of my cab this morning,around 4am,and confronted by 2 non-English speaking gentleman,talking some language i didn’t understand,i thought how much i love this nighting out lark.and paying £32 for the privilege of ‘safe parking’…the Company’s money,not mine tho’ :slight_smile:
