A few of the EE start up firms here are paying just a day rate aimed at drivers from where they from as nite out money rare out thereReally?
How many “EE start up firms here” are there?
If a “few of them” are doing that, surely there must be quite a lot around?Where is “nite[sic] out money rare” I wonder?
Quite a few around Felixstowe and tilbury areas often see adverts in Romanian and other languages
Seeing adverts in a foreign language doesn`t mean it is a “startup company” nor a “EE” company.
Quite possibly long standing companies looking to replace drivers, and most companies advertising in the UK for people to drive in the UK are, (guess what?) UK companies, and they should be properly regulated under UK law.No mention of where you think “over there” is where “nite[sic] out money is rare”?
I will rephrase it for you there are a lot of new firms started up over the last few years especially since the Ltd company rules changed. The advert often have a foreign sounding company name as well as the contact name. Also as an external TM with a advert for my services out there I get a couple of calls per month from prospective operators and over the last 2 years they have been predominantly from foreign men looking to apply for an Operator license for 3-5 units sometimes more. If you use Facebook some of the haulage or TM oriented pages are awash with people looking for parking or operators centres in the north Kent and Essex areas where there is a large amount of traction only work in Purfleet tilbury and up to Felixstowe
My original post that there are firms offer just a day rate with no night out allowance and they tend to be from Eastern European operated companies is valid but I do know two British operated firms that also do this one claims to do this as the drivers argued about who got the most so he averaged them out into a all incumbent day rate
