19 miles each way can do it in as little as 30 min upto 1 hour but as I’m a tramper some nights I don’t go home even if I’m in yard

A mind numbingly boring 5 minute walk to work alongside the river…
But home to the rented apartment is about 7 hours once a month.
Or 1200km if you drive!

wing-nut:
112 miles round trip, five days a week
Wow!!!
Furthest was 85 miles to work Sunday night, then 85 miles home Friday night.
Some eyewatering figures from day/night men on this thread
Makes me feel better about my 16 mile commute each way. 25 mins in the morning, up to an hour coming home depending when I get done. Would love a job I could cycle/walk to, but all the jobs in my area pay peanuts / have duff shift patterns
90 mile round trip every day 5 days a week makes me cry sometimes.
Lucky enough to travel 2.5 miles to work, left the house at 4.10 this morning walked into security at 4.15 so not too bad.
One of our lads drives up from Evesham to willenhall every day err no ta lol.
11 miles each way for me daily.
100 mile round trip 4 on 4 off. £200 out of my wages on fuel every month just to get to work. I’d hate to think how much I’ve spent on fuel over the years as I’ve been doing it for 24yrs. [emoji53]
