hiya,
For my missus the trainer would need a dining chair and a big whip and even
then I wouldn’t be able to guarantee their safety, a lion springs to mind.

coming up to 50 years this year harry , i think i might be suffering from post traumatic stress disorder . i’ve more chance of reasoning with a hungry grizzly bear than with our lass . when she’s right she’s happy , but when she’s wrong she’s still right if you get my drift . ah well , too late to trade her in now !! cheers , dave

hiya
Fifty years Eh’ Dave, congratulations my good man, it’s only forty one for me
hasn’t there been a medal struck for being fifty years in captivity if there isn’t
there darned well should be a man shouldn’t be put to all that stress for all that
time without some kind of reward, at least at age nearly seventy seven it is very
unlikely I’ll reach the qualifying period, but Dave if such a gong is available wear
it with pride and for goodness sake keep it polished, she’ll make sure you do.
thanks harry, long retired.

all is sweetness at the moment harry , we bought a (nearly ) new caravan yesterday and she needs me to tow it to take her on holiday , so at the moment she is overlooking my wrongdoings , but they will all be stored in the memory bank for future reference . cheers , dave

Hi Harry,
You have been pleading poverty on here for the last few years, and now you have in the last 24 hours admitted to having owned a static holiday caravan and now a touring caravan.
It should read " Harry not as skint as he makes out ! " Not that I blame you.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Dave it’s the buying of caravans that has got me penniless, and the daughter and son in law
use the thing far more than I do, the site fees are astronomical now what used to be a cheap
break away now requires a re-mortgage of the house just to park in a field usually muddy for
a day or two getting rusty, because it’s never stopped raining since you arrived.
thanks harry, long retired.

Hi Harry,
A lorry driver mate of mine who now has health problems as does his wife bought a camper van last year, which they really enjoy. The only downside ,is as you say the parking fee’s and the need in popular places to book in advance, otherwise they are fully booked up.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Would have loved a camper van although they are not very practicable
for use as a runabout when on site, although after having said that my
car never gets moved from arriving on site to departing preferring to go
places by bus, you have to remember the buses for me and my good lady
cost nothing so no parking and fuel costs.
thanks harry, long retired.

That’s an advantage being able to use the bus for free Harry. The only problem that could arise is if they cut the funding for that.
Reading the Hereford Times today, the council are cutting 300 jobs and funding for loads of services.Lets hope they don’t cut anymore. Our lot this side the border are cutting back as well.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Yes Dave I’m going to give it some stick whilst we still have the perk , I’m trying
to get the missus to give up the car, I’m not bothered about driving now but all
she says is O’h keep it, it comes in handy, a darned expensive thing to keep for
just doing the odd bit of shopping a couple of times a week and the odd night at
the Bingo, I certainly wouldn’t miss the driving, I’ve had a licence for 61 years this
month (motorbike at age 16) so I feel ready to hand the keys in.

Get what you can while you can Harry.I’m afraid this country is in meltdown. The sooner these politicians wise up the better.
Cheers Dave.
