I’m working up until Xmas eve then got 25.26.27.28 off then maybe a little work inbeetween new year.

If you usually have a weekly rest on the weekends then having those 4 days off gives you a regular weekly rest for xmas week and new year week in one go and will allow for the next 2 weekends to be reduced weekly rests
Gave form yesterday and
Mon 22 nd - rest
Tues 23 rd. - work
We’d 24 th - work
Thurs 25 th. - b/h off
Fri 26 th - holiday
Sat 27 th- work
Sun 28 th - rest
Mon 29 th - rest
Tues 30 th- work
We’d 31 st work
Thurs 1 st - work
Then back too normal rota ,new year kills me ,at work on day,then work the following so how do you go out and celebrate the new year in ,criminal,asked for holidays ,refused point blank

As it stands at the moment I have to work Boxing Day but I am desperately trying to get it off, I’m in my 33rd year of working and never have I worked on Boxing Day, grrrrr.
24th 25 rota on so that’s 2 nights off then 26 27 rest days 
back in 28 29 30 then rest 31 1 that’ll do 
Finish 11am Xmas eve 8 am start then back on jan 5th cos on Boxing Day off too my holiday home in benidorm 
Don’t know yet, just started with new agency so probably get phone call halfway through Christmas dinner!!
Currently I’m off Wed,Thu,Fri,Sat,Sun and working on Mon and Tuesday 
I’ll work New Year’s Eve/day no worries but Xmas is for the little en

Finnish next Friday untill the 5th January where my days will consist of changing dirty nappies, being kept awake, bathing my daughter and being a great dad to her Oh and the occasional ale or 2 and getting to watch some great sport on TV I.e the footie, cricket and World Championship Darts

That is just what my Christmas will be like,new born baby to look after and to make sure she is asleep before the darts.
Having to work 27th and 28th Dec, other than that finish on 22nd back on 4th. …happy days

Alright for you lot. Grumble grumble.
I have a 24 hour shift starting in Samoa at 00:01 on the 25th.
in xmas eve until bosses say we can go ( should be 12-2pm ish) off till 29th (but on call) then normal till NYE
2 weeks off from the end of this week 
Scrooge has said my last day is 22nd December.
Then he had the cheek to tell me not to come back until 5th January.
God how will I cope
Planning to take the 24th, 25th and 31st off. That way I can get 3 bank holiday rates plus weekend rates
Unless I manage to get a full time job I doubt it.
