Christmas bonus....who got what?

Haven’t seen a thread on the subject this year, unless I’m missing summat.

So, how did you all fare? For myself, a decent hamper (at a guess fifty quids worth) a bottle of Penderyn single malt, bottle of wine, a card and a calendar; plus the boss put a buffet on for us the Friday before Christmas, sarnies, home made cakes and nibbles. Only been there since August but he treats everyone the same, the mark of a decent employer in my book.

Double bubble for me this year cos I was also invited to the Forfarmers’ mill booze-up for old times’ sake; free beer all night and a buffet.

Well, last year we got a cracking hamper, a £100 gift card, and free vend in the coffee machines!

This year, we got a 20% discount code for three weeks, which didn’t work for half of the staff who tried to use it!

2 bacon rolls and unlimited mince pies from the in house “essentials” range.

I got a free shouting match with the cabbage on the front desk, although to be fair, just like a dog these shouting matches are not just for Christmas. :imp:

Bottle of red wine and a small box of chocolates from the employer.

A free meal in the canteen from the contract… that most of the drivers weren’t told about until too late to use the vouchers.

On the plus side we forced them to agree to a 2 grand retention bonus payable at the end of Jan [emoji6]

A turkey.

No, really. A flecking big one too… We had one leg for our Christmas Dinner, and have frozen the rest.

As a driver I got sweet fanny adams,however I did spot the boxes of drink for the others on my way out .

Frec all. Been working for the company for coming up 14 years and its the first time that there has not been a bonus.
