How times change. I’m old enough to remember when agency drivers didn’t even get holiday pay.
I’m currently on the 3rd week of holiday and the agency is paying me £800/week holiday pay (PAYE) while I’m off
£400, plus bottle of spirits and bottle of wine and a Xmas pudding, oh and we shut down for 12 days.
XPOlogistics to be fair told us we would never receive any type of bonus but then we changed names to GXO and we we’re told that things will be done differently as “we are in competition with those from before” only to find it’s the same old bull#%€t and that nothing has changed as we didn’t even get a thank you
We get a reasonable hamper every year and a ‘no damage ‘ bonus of £200 if you get no blameworthy’s.
£500 bonus
Been there a year , very thankfull for that
Guaranteed 48 hour a week / £600 a week ( rigid driver ) no multi drop mainly distance nationwide
Not really in the know of other peoples money but seems ok to me, I suppose that’s all that counts

Starting a new job with XPO (Univar) next week, the pay is better than my last job, 10k per year so not fussed if I don’t get a bonus!!!

You could get £10k per year as a driver’s mate 30 years ago! Have a look around. There’s plenty of HGV jobs paying £35k as a minimum now.

Maybe I should have worded it better…
The pay is 10k a year more than my last job and not 10k per year!! I’m going from £22k earned last year to £32k!!!

I’d hope the £10k would be on top of your previous wage !!! the pay I get at gxo is excellent but the thread is about xmas bonus and I take that as a sign of what the company thinks about it’s employees

At Stobart some day as well quit.Same at DPD.I been at Amazon 31/12.Ask this guy how busy at you.He said who at Rochester Amazon very quit and job about 50 percent less than last year.
