Caught on phone

update on this,i got offered the driver awareness course.lesson learned.
also got some headphones with built in microphone now like some previous posters suggested.

I get contacted a number of times a day on my personal phone by the office I drive for, after telling them I’m not happy with them disturbing me in the way of phone calls while driving they are still doing it! I do answer at times but I do notice the disruption it has on my driving, even if it does take a few seconds, time to stop,as it’s not worth it

I’m either on the fone or an Ipad and have the tv on when I’m driving and it don’t distract me much, and I also wander off to make a brew or even visit the little boys room, can’t see what all the fuss is about

Glad this apple thing is back.

Lets batter it into a pulp…

and I also wander off to make a brew

I remember on the first season of Ice Road Truckers one of the guys went into the back of his truck to make coffee when he was driving on the ice. Now thats putting too much faith in your cruise control!

Bought yourself a £10 bluetooth headset yet?

I still cant understand why people risk the points and fine when the headsets are so cheap.

Those ones are not worth buying if you plan on wearing it all day. The cheap ones get very uncomfortable so pay the extra for a plantronics earpiece if you are likely to wear it throughout your shift. After a couple of weeks you don’t even notice it plus it has functional advantages like voice command answering a call or reading a txt to you. They are expensive but worth it if you want to keep it on all day
