You two have just proved my point that a business plan I had thought up years ago WOULD have worked.
Ok, maybe not pc but effective.
Recruit about 6 or so young fit ■■■■■ young ladies (I would have said preferably blonde but that’s just me  ) wearing cropped t. shirts and skimpy shorts, on a drive in car wash. :bulb: :sunglasses:

I would have made a fortune from lads like yourselves…well no offence but basically pervs I was aiming at.

My mates were all for it, but funnily enough my Mrs did not share my enthusiasm for the project, so it never got off the ground. :frowning:

we had one here a few years ago RobRoy

they would have been better with a sign reading…" FOR THE BEST ■■■■■■■■ IN TOWN"…
but still nice to see complete and utterly non pc sexism alive and well in 2019.long may it continue.

( the best misrepresented phrase in the link was…“exotic dancer”…

oh i do believe they did have that phrase when i drove past lol

Well there we were last night in the motorhome in the docks on Palma awaiting the ferry back to Barcelona when over the security gate jumps a flip flop wearing bearded oik , he thinks no one has spotted him , then he sees us looking , he come over and after working out which language to speak to us he says he has no passport but lots of money and needs to get to the mainland and on to UK. He spoke French German and English quite well!
We told him to [zb] off and so he did in the dark, twenty mins later he is negotiating with some dodgy looking Arabs (?) in the next queue…So I bubbled him to security who dragged him from the rear of the Arabs tatty VW van.
Hope all the [zb] got detained, all I know is the red VW van didn’t load as it was still on the quay as we left.

Bet your family think your a hero.
Proper little brexit gammon.

So as you evidently have no problem with them, and condone them coming over here illegally to take advantage of financial and social handouts…
Can you explain to me something that has always puzzled me.

If they genuinely are ‘‘refugees’’ (rather than imo economic scroungers) … How by definition did their refugee status not cease after they left the first country they arrived in after ‘‘escaping’’ from their native country.

Also (a rhetorical question btw)…
Why were they not so relieved to escape from their native country, were they not content and happy to stay there, given that the danger they were supposedlly escaping from had ceased.■■

Free world.Isnt it. South of Spain is full of fat Brits in ■■■■■ gold jewellery watching Only Fools and Horses.Crack on I say.

I know what I’d rather be and it’s not a racist or a grass.

Well side stepped bud…instead of actually answering my questions to you. :unamused:

Oh yeh and only 2 out of 10 for playing the inevitable ‘‘Racist’’ card. :unamused:

But Ben Bano, from the Seeking Sanctuary migrant support group, warned migrants should not be demonised.

He said: “We have to hold on to the fact that people, however desperate they are, are our brothers and sisters in humanity, and that is what we need to keep reminding people about. And they are refugees unless proved otherwise.”

This is just one of the idiots that you over there and us over here are up against.

I bought a karcher jet wash,this summer
It’s paid for itself already.

Karcher power washes are pretty crap, the main issue with them is the plastic pump housing which cracks if you store it in cold garage and frost gets to it. Nilfisk machines have a metal bodied pump and cheap versions frequently come up on Amazon flash sales

Thanks for the tip.
I’ll bring it inside.

I’ve got a £300 quid yellow ornament in my shed thanks to my neighbour using it while I was away on holiday last January.

My cheap Karcher washer has been stored in an unheated shed or plastic garden store ever since I bought it about 10 years ago. No issues whatsoever with cracked pump housings. In fact, no issues at all. Haven’t spent a penny on repairs or maintenance.

Looks like we’re finally starting to get somewhere and common sense is maybe starting to prevail at last.
Let’s hope that these boats they are deploying to pick up the latest trend of dinghy bound groups, have them put aboard to ship back to France and not taken to UK.
A message needs to be sent out to these economic migrants that they are not welcome.

This has been my thinking for years now…I always assumed I was the odd one out and have missed something obvious!
Surely 90% of the migrants at Calais are economic migrants rather than refugees so why can’t the French process them and grant asylum to the genuine cases and send the rest back to their own countries?

Im not offering any answers, but there are some issues in processing them: Many have lostany docs linking them to country of origin. Unsurprisingly they mostly claim to come from war zones etc. How can they besent back if it's unsure where they originated from? Which country will allow in undocumented people? Processing costs time and money. Some cynics may point out ignoring them is cheaper? And why are they there? Their belief (right or wrong) is theyre better off here than France.
We are the magnet, and Calais etc are paying for it. True, the UK funds much of the security measures in French ports, but it’s little help to the citizens there.

Stop the hand outs,then they won’t come…anyway.

id wonder what the average negative equity is in property around calais nowadays because of the great unwashed…must be a sickener for anyone owning a house in the area.

I used to enjoy a wander around Calais in years gone by but I wouldn’t want to do it now.I’m certainly glad I don’t live anywhere nearby.Last time I drove through(in my car) about 1900hrs on a sunday november,my wife was frightened at the number of groups standing around.I locked my car doors but is that any use?
