Hiya i was at the llandudno festival last week. i got talking with a really nice chap. i asked who he was
and did he have any vehicles in the show…no he replied to the vehicles although he run some cattle lorries
at one time. his name was mr Watts from Barnstaple cattle transporter. we had something in common.
i used to deliver brewer’s grains from Burton on Trent to Wallace day nr Barnstaple, Mr Watts told me he
did the transporting of animals for mr Day.Small world two strangers knew the same farmer from many
miles away.

Continuing the small world theme, I know John Watts and his family, I have also taken stock into an out of the Day’s farm at Yelland
if I remember right there’s pictures of J Watts’s & Son’s lorries on here somewhere

Hi no photos but came across this site it brought back many memories through the 60’s i spent every saturday at Taunton market washing out Norman Duddridges lorry when he had an old Seddon and spent all all my summer holidays with his family. I remember all the old hauliers and drivers and a lot of the new ones when in the 80’s i worked at the market on the gate security/parking

Not an old picture but was in Frome market so took a picture as not your every day choice for a truck even though it is well capable and was probably cheap to boot, cheers Buzzer.

You are correct about the location. A friend took the photograph when he was delivering aluminium sheets, etc. , to
Williams` premises. Possibly taken about 10 years ago , but worthy of showing on here.
