well in a couple of weeks i start class 2, but current job is labourer at caravan park, work part time aswell as a chef at hull citys, kc stadium, trained as a chef 12 years ago at college and only worked full time at kc for 2 years out of them 12
also trained and qualified as a photographer with nvq’s and everything lol, shot weddings, christenings etc

Plan on doing my class 1 beginning of next yr and then look for permanent driving work class 1 or 2.
Several months ago there was a lawyer on trucknet who had just passed the c+e and was saying how much he was enjoying being a truck driver.
I am wondering how he is going on with the slight difference in pay and all that, and is he still with us, or returned to his former career.
Engineer,worked for rolls Royce,aveling Barford etc,trained as a universal grinder,but did jig boring,turning,milling,welding etc,no I don’t regret leaving( well pay ,hrs,conditions I should) but I don’t,something I was told I was good at ,but never enjoyed .
Would I go back ,I’ve had offers,I just don’t no.
