bald bloke:
Well they gave us another true professional last night in Ronnie or [zb] Ronnie. Again I think the public perception of us took another nose dive.
thats exactly what i was thinking when he came on
Do you reckon they choose complete gob [zb] s on purpose just to maintain the negative public perception of us., I reckon they do, not just that programme but most of them that involves drivers and their opinions.
Can’t believe he didn’t have an egg stained T Shirt on

Sounded like that “I’m touching myself” creep that was posted about on here a few months back.
Strange how the reality of “many agency drivers” or “many foreigners as agency/full timers” doesn’t seem to come up. Just some stereotyped image of what the public think we all are, as suggested above. We can all see he’s a proper helmet. Same goes for Stobart’s Dixon with his panic attacks once inside the M25…
Perhaps these serials would like to approach some trampers in laybys to ask them about security issues, how they get robbed all the time, threatened with violence by those who cannot be complained about, etc. If enough people bang on about it - perhaps we’ll get recognised as an endangered spieces in our own right - seeing as we’re all that stands between “UK as Top Ten power in the world” and “UK as third-world country”.

I don’t know what was more ridiculous and offensive, his unprofessional [zb] attitude, or the fact he was driving (agency style ) with his hi viz on
I don’t think he was agency - had too much swagger. Most likely a Ltd contractor on contract (backdoor full timer)
The agency demeanor is more likely to resemble this guy Zilly…

There nothing wrong with driving whilst wearing hi viz:!::!:
There is you look a ■■■!!! There is just no need
We have 2 rdc’s within half a mile of our yard and admittedly if I’m delivering there I’ll leave my hi-vis on but anything further then definitely it’s coming off.
bald bloke:
What about the rigid driver who had all the cameras on all four sides of his wagon he still didn’t see that little white car did he.
Why did he move in when he could not see where the car was? I don’t move anywhere until I can see what the other vehicle is doing.
I get the idea he’d passed that car but it was coming back up his inside.
For all the cameras he had, he was a knob, there’s no substitute for keeping your ■■■■■■■ eyes open!

yep he started to pass it . lost sight in cam and mirror then the car dropped back in view then went out of sight again.
the car didn’t make any decisive action the car should have either accelerated or dropped off so calling him a knob I think is a tad strong

You cant watch four tv camera monitors at once despite they being on a split screen also i thought it was illegal to have a tv monitor in view of the driver or is this another law that has changed recently.
If he had used the old fashioned kerb mirror above the nearside window he would have seen the car no problem.
I sometimes have my hi viz bomber jacket on if I am driving one of our older vehicles that don’t have the greatest heaters. Does that make me a ■■■ lol? Or is it just the hi viz vest I wear normally that makes me a ■■■? We have had a couple of drivers receive complaints from Shell and Tossco for not having a hi viz on whilst on their premises. Its just as easy to leave it on when you are multi-dropping all day.
Is the ‘■■■’ remark aimed at drivers who drive for hours on end? Just curious lol.

His fault entirely!
He doesn’t need to check his kerb mirror. He has all these fantastic cameras to let him see. Its all so much safer you see. All those cameras mean that you are much safer on the road and will not cause any accidents because you can see all round your vehicle
Oh…!
