What channel is it on? See if I can watch it on catch up

It was ITV. It’s also a 2 part programme so they’ll be another one on soon.

All in all not very good for the truck driver. The potty mouth in the rigid with the 2 St. George cross’ on his visors. How can someone want to stay in a job when they’re that worked up all the time?
Some pretty poor driving from the S&R Smith driver too. He seemed proud he had admitted fault and that his boss offered the injured girl a dolls house. How about slowing down in fog and looking at the temporary traffic light sign and not [zb] rear ending them in the first place. He should think himself lucky the oncoming tipper was more clued up than he was or he could have ended up seriously hurt.

Just like the cyclist that crashed into the roadworks, he probably had his head down looking at his … (fill in the blank)

My relative done the same thing years ago only he hit a skip he has been paralysed ffrom the neck down ever since

OMG really sorry to hear that. [emoji45]

Angry Al I think was his name and he had me cringing, that’s probably the perception people now have of us.

They wouldn’t be far wrong, would they?

What ever are you suggesting? Thanks to the CPC there are nothing but solid professionals on the roads. That must have been old footage…

haha old footage! i like your style.

Unfortunately I don’t think anything on the program did a bit of good for this industry. AngrAl - what a joke. The Smiths driver did only make a mistake but did you see how far the people carrier went across the field!!! As already mentioned he should have seen all the warning signs etc

I don’t think Al was that bad, i’ve used the same language when i’ve been cut up or had near misses like his. He’s no worse than many people i’ve met. The Smiths driver fair enough put his hand up and said it was his fault but in the vid i could see the vehicle he hit a long way before he reacted so he obv wasn’t concentrating.

Double post

It was typical car crash telly, if you’ll excuse the pun. Angry Al, what a knob jockey. If I Was his boss he would be holding his p45 by now.

Shouldn’t he have been holding his manhood cheap here?

Shame it’s ITV - You can’t fast forward the ads like on your settop box, and it’s bad enough there’s ads in it at all of course.

Anyone see it?

The guy in the DAF came across as a bit of a ■■■■.

Im watching it now, DAF lad is brill, funny as zb:lol:

Employers are not fussy who they put behind a wheel these days.

I think they are…

G6Bob:
And the guy who thought he was a legend, driving behind the ambulance.

Cracked me up, reminded me of Peter Gay:lol:

STV works with AdBlock Plus, so you get no ad’s… just enter any random Scottish postcode when you register (Don’t copy and paste)

It wasn’t necessarily the language, but the frequency of how often he blew his top

He looks like he has some anger management issues and is due a coronary if he’s not careful. :open_mouth:

I was amazed at the bike flying up in the air too, as someone else said. I suppose it’s a light weight one. He sort of landed on his feet incredibly. If you look carefully I think you can see where he nutted the windscreen, lucky to be alive I think.

Supatramp:
Saw this for the first time last night. Reckon that a number of characters, though obviously totally unaware, were shown to be exhibiting questionable driving themselves, even though they weren’t directly involved.

The van driver who was undertaken was a classic example of an outside lane hogger. So the ‘undertaker’ was in the wrong, and then somehow managed to lose control, but the van eejit shouldn’t gave been wandering along in the outside lane in the first place. It’s an overtaking lane but there was nothing in sight in the inside lane!
.

Yeh, I noticed that also. I ain’t saying the prat undertaking was in the right, but he wouldn’t have been able or need to, if that guy was in the lane that he should have been in.
A right self righteous knob totally oblivious to the fact that he was also in the wrong :unamused:

Thanks for that. I’ve done just as you said, including sticking the adblock on it.

If it’s the adblock that edits out the commercial breaks within the actual programme as well - then it rocks!

Its magic and just blocks the ads. It’s amazing how much better YouTube and Faceache is without adverts. Even Trucknetuk has a few adverts.

I have used ABP for the last 2 years on Chrome and the Internet is a different place

Awaits a rollicking from site admin

Before

After

Yup. I’m always open to being enlightened in some way like this.

The wiki has links to some articles that reckon the advertisers are trying to find a way to sabotage this particular piece of software.
May they fail miserably! The most public-friendly things in life are the very things the establishment hates eh? :smiling_imp:

Angry Al is a very aggressive driver. Looking at his dash cam footage most of the incidents where cars changed lanes in front of him he appeared to be accelerating in an attempt to stop them pulling in, then blaming them for cutting him up

Well they gave us another true professional last night in Ronnie or ■■■■■■ Ronnie. Again I think the public perception of us took another nose dive.

It does make you wonder if they are members from on here. We’ve seen these TV companies come here looking for interested drivers who want to be featured on these programmes.
Makes us our own worst enemies sometimes.

thats exactly what i was thinking when he came on

What about the rigid driver who had all the cameras on all four sides of his wagon he still didn’t see that little white car did he.

to be honest he started passing the white car then the white car looked like he was going to floor it then backed off just before the truck pulled over

Do you reckon they choose complete gob ■■■■■■ s on purpose just to maintain the negative public perception of us., I reckon they do, not just that programme but most of them that involves drivers and their opinions.
