For shutting the A6 south of Lancaster,
Been told it was on the radio,
Had a car pull out on me and T-Boned it, couldnt do much apart from drop a bum spud.
I am alive and ok, got a phonecall to say the car driver has suspected broken ribs, collarbone and pelvis.
Hope she recovers well.
Joys of the job eh.

I don’t think you are allowed to start your own thread, normally you have to be called names and guess whether your parents were married, you certainly are not a professional if there were no children involved.

or even some mothers daughter

I live on the A585 just north of M55 J3 and there were A LOT of emergency service vehicles went flying by on blues on twos heading north.
Hope you’re ok B1 GGK as even if you’re calm at the scene and maybe even drive the truck back, it can hit hard once you get home and relax.

Was there a big creamy mess in the cab?
Nearly had that happen to me once a while back, some bird pulled out of one of the layby’s on the a42 with me on the limiter, managed to brake & avoid her whilst noticing the trailer trying to overtake me in the mirror.

Happened at just after 11am.
I’ve since heard there was a serious accident on our road yesterday afternoon.
This afternoon I was in Kearsely near Bolton and saw a guy get knocked off his push bike by a female car driver turning an easy sweeping left at a set of lights. She was correctly positioned in the left turning lane. Guess the biker must have come up the inside of her whilst she waited at the lights, then she must have turned not being aware of his presence. Lycra, helmet, etc.

Right on my door step then, must have got it cleard by the time i came back

Isn’t that where the staggered x roads is? Its a very dangerous junction that. I’ve seen several near misses there. They pull out of one road & then stop on the main road waiting to enter the other road.

No think you are thinking of the junction near cabus maby wtih the road that goes toward scorton
Slightly staggered yeh, Signpost for Bay Horse there, I stopped on a a bridge over a brook next to the sign for Ellel.
This is the junction A6 - Cockerham Rd - Bay Horse. Ellel is a few miles further on where they have the annual ploughing match.
Yeah thats the one near my house, sorry I never think of them as staggerd, Most accidents there are due to artics truning left two sharply and taking the wall out or getting stuck

Go past the junction not even 50 yards and you get a small bridge, you got a sign for Ellel there 
OP is right. Potters brook stone bridge just north of there with a low sign for Ellel “district.”

What’s confusing is that the village of Ellel is some miles further north.
