I thought I would pop in and see what TUK thought about the Canadian Trucker Convoy. Same old story, off topic in an instant. I guess it is not being reported on the news over there too.
It most certainly is, the most viewed online news source in the UK is Daily Mail Online and it has been lead story on there all day.
It’s on the BBC news website too, but the Beeb haven’t seen fit to include a swathe of tweets from Mr Rocket Man, aka Daddy X Æ A-12

Seems strange, as apparently nearly 90% of Canadians are vaccinated.

I personally have had the jab for my own reasons and I don’t give a toss for those who disagree with me.
However… if those who feel strong enough against it for whatever reason (either totally out there ■■■■ mad bizzare, or logical thinking, they should have the right to decide.)

Dismiss it as crap if you want mate, but it’s nevertheless true.
It aiint specifically to do with a pandemic no, but it has everything to do with freedom of choice…the principle is there no matter what the subject matter is.
Anyhow if you’ve had your jabs what does it matter who you stand beside, I certainly have not let all thus crap affect my life and curtail my enjoyment.

And those who choose not to take the vaccine are forcing lockdowns, mask wearing and other restrictions on those who have in order to protect those morons who choose not to take it from the consequences of their own decisions. By all means don’t take the vaccine but then don’t make any demands for things like mask wearing or in fact hospital treatment as treating covid patients means millions of vaccinated patients have had to have medical procedures put on hold as the hospitals are forced to deal with the selfish.

I am very, very, strongly of the thought that everyone who can, should be vaccinated. That much is pretty obvious.
The “enforced” bit…I`m not so sure…not in this case…at this stage anyway…I dunno.
There are certainly times when medical intervention should be compulsory. (Big subject, late at night etc…) But not an easy topic.

As time goes on, I suspect , and hope, that the vaccines we have will give better protection to those who choose to have them. We will become less reliant on others being responsible citizens.

I’m just basing it on the fact that in real life most people I know whether they are vaccinated or not definitely don’t support mandatory vaccines. Also the Canadians I am friends with on social media all support the protest.
You obviously weren’t aware that unless you can post endless tedious links to support “your” argument then anything you say doesn’t count!
