Hi guys I have had 7.5 tonner I was driving repossessed while in Spain an am stuck in Torrevieja .
by chance is there a good Samaritan in Spain with a spare seat to help me get back to uk. My now ex boss who landed me in it with not paying his way has really got me stuck.He even had ferry ticket cancelled I would be grateful of any help or advice. I just want to get back to family in Scotland before xmas

I can think of worse places to be stuck

seemingly they had tried to catch me at dover on road over and missed me ,after doing a delivery in paris ten I headed to Almeria in spain they caught me there all legal paperwork from U.K courts I aint going to stand in there way I am just a worker.
And no iam not asking for money just if some one had a spare seat to get lift back to uk no begging I just am trying to cover all areas to get back to family.

Thanks Tarrman that is my next option just thought I would give the forum a try you never know with the good guys we have on our roads and some might have been traveling this way cheers for now

Are you able to get on a Eurolines coach direct to the UK.
Or a flight back.?
Insight transport ltd have many trucks in Spain.
They are Inkberrow Midlands UK.
Maybe they have a driver that can collect you.
I picked a guy up in similar circumstances in France a couple of years ago. Just make sure you are tidy and clean if you ask a trucker/ fellow driver if you’re in a services etc… Show them your passport and ID and someone will take you home. The ferry from Calais will be free as a passenger. Good luck.
As it’s now the Xmas fruit time there must be lots of trucks in the area.You dont need a UK truck,any truck that is going North will do,maybe a Dutch,German,French or Scaninavian.Any lift northwards gets you nearer home and you can look in various truck stops for further help.

Cant you just get a Ryanair flight? Google where they fly from, book a cheapo ticket, back in no time, or get to Santander or Bilbao and get on ferry as foot passenger. Only cost me £70 in the height of summer. Lots of drivers, me included, would be reluctant to share their cab with a random stranger.
I am assuming there is an outstanding debt or fine that was not paid by another driver.
The Police flagged up the number plate and have seized the vehicle until the money has been paid.
Try and chill out,have a beer,wine or a cafe con leche.
Can you explain more what has happened.
The post seems the Police have a problem with you.There may be a cheap hostel in the area to stay in.

thanks I understand the concern I did not know there had been scam about stuck in spain. I will keep trying and if all else fails start hitching on Saturday

Over the years I’ve seen a few Spanish 7½ tonners in the UK, so presumably it works the other way to.
why wait until then?
