Yes, but do you get what I’m saying about the 3rd and 5th lines?
I do, but again I just think it’s poorly explained and over complicated

Agreed, my point in the first place was that the page was wrong.
Hi guys. Update is I emailed dvla back again quoting sec45(1) they emailed back saying sorry but I was correct and apologised for incorrect advice. Will get d+e so will just have to wait and see what comes back. At least got it in writing now.

It’s one thing getting it from the email adviser and knowing you are right.
But having it printed on your licence is down to the trained monkeys in the update section of DVLA.
Lets hope you get a well paid monkey
Yeah agree. Will just wait now and see. At least if have to send back can send email with to hopefully speed things. Will update.
You would think now days a computer would upgrade a licence to make sure all correct but then if you look at the amount of codes/categories and variants you get with EU and gb legislation I don’t think a computer would get it right either
It doesn’t take much programming to correctly assign licence categories.
I think I might offer my services
Got my licence back today after passing D after the CE. All good as I’ve been given D1E and DE as it should be. Thanks to this forum for great site.

Makes a change that DVLA actually got it right.
