Been given my run for tomorrow. Its a 2 day affair with about 7 drops on the list but its a long trip. It goes like this:
Lincoln
Doncaster
Quarrington Hill
Gateshead
Whitley Bay
Edinburgh
Blackburn
Bishop Briggs
Return to Lincoln.
I’ve been told to get to Edinburgh by the end of my first day to tip before they close (they will stay though if I’m running in after closing time). I have two 10 hour drive days to use though. Can I make to Edinburgh in my 10 hours drive time?
You have “been told” to get to Edinburgh by the end of the first day . . .
presumably,by a spotty faced gimp in the traffic orifice.
It takes as long as it takes.
Team Valley? Head back south towards Washington, cut across to the A194(M) and down to the tunnel. It seems a bit arsey versey, but it will be quicker. The alternative is through Newcastle. And the A1 north of Newcastle up to Edinburgh is littered with cameras

Thats where it is. I don’t think they will be giving me toll money (I have to claim it back from the agency). Cameras don’t bother me too much. I have a Satnav that alerts me to them.
You’ll have no worres about your driving time fella, you’ll ■■■■ it. As for the cameras up the A1 again not a lot to worry about, after all you have a 50 limit on the s/c.
Just remember that the s/c from newcastle to edinburgh is a 40!!! After dunbar the dual carriage way to edinburgh becomes flat out and the cameras are set to accomadate this.

Ah. My bad… missed that bit…
The road is ■■■■ till dunbar… however from berwick to dunbar you get some cracking views. And watch for traffic officers on the mad mile
