The £350 or any other positive amount of money - comes from when the payments to the EU stop outright.
Since they have not stopped as yet - it’s easy to fire broadsides at the argument - I get that.
We actually have to break more EU laws to wrench ourselves free… America declaring independence didn’t “get them out of the British Empire” - It DID dispatch an expeditionary force to start a war against them though!
Perhaps it’s time to batton down the hatches, and pull up the drawbridge as a matter of urgency then…
Its all very well well getting out the muskets but what colour uniform?? Red wont do for the Tories, blue same for the lefties. Khaki ■■ NO! Kaki is the French slang for fiveH oneT so we cant have them forreineers laughing at us. Lets get back to our roots and defend our shores in the ■■■■ stained with woad! That`ll show them how serious we are.

Like this you mean
How about a blue coat, white breeches and a white cap, while officers red breeches and a red cap ? Sounds stylish, oh and generals need to have a grey beard
Dont panic then. Hope future governments are the same. However if Mme LePen gets more power there may be a shift in attitude? Still, the future is always a bit cloudy. Except for professional politicians of course. (of all parties). They always know whats about to happen. And are then even better at explaining why it didn`t.
As an aside it could be interesting in Spain tomorrow as I think it is the general election. Apparently there is one party which is offering a referendum!

Interesting. Could there be a split vote tho? What with Basques, Catalonians et al all after independence? But still receiving subsidies from the EU. And all those non-native speakers living in non Spanish enclaves (esp around Marbella) voting for fish chips & Watneys Red Barrel?? Wonder how many of them were active voters in the recent referendum? And which way they all voted? Wonder how many of them are anti-immigration??

The American revolutionaries set up the “Continental Army”.
Perhaps we could have an “Incontinent Army” then, consisting of people that previously wore suits and voted to Remain.
Brown trousers would be compulsory of course.

BBC I was sick of complaining to the BBC about non cover of French workers being tear gassed and water cannoned because they were trying to protect their employment rights it had gone on for weeks until they got their biased backsides over their to cover it
I’ve been trying to watch this on the French Cable channel - but it cuts out seconds into any reports about “Rioting Jungle Camp” or “Rioting Workers”.

After the immediate jubilation and waving I think Boris is after a pair of those brown trousers.
Im thinking he was supporting "out" but hoping for "remain". His previous history was pro Eu, after all. It seemed a way to endear himself to the right wing Tories with no real risk. After all, the polls said "remain" would win. Well, he may now have to take a big part in exit talks. Anything and everything that goes wrong will be laid at his door. Thats the way it is. If he is the new Tory leader it wont be for very long. No wonder hes run away for the weekend!
Of course my amateur analysis of the situation may be terribly wrong. (again) Maybe he is more than a self serving professional politician? Maybe he is the leader we now need? Time will tell of course.
