Calais problem not going away

dailymail.co.uk/news/article … alais.html

Constantly going on but makes the papers when poor little Tilly gets frightened after finding out the scum at Calais aren’t all nice doctors and engineers. :unamused:

Hyphenated Tilly must be mistaken about the children’s age, she said 20 to 30, she must mean 12 to 13 years old

I got that to look forward to tomorrow. I’m parked 4hrs away so I have tried my best not to become a taxi.

How was Monza? I came back last week. Wasn’t allowed to stay and watch it this time.

I actually saw some migrants on way back. About 20 of them were playing football in the middle if a roundabout about 2 mile away from port turn off. All they had to do was walk up the flip road and they would have been inside the high security fence.
About a mile prior there were three of them stood bold as brass by the crash barrier.

It was pretty good and not as hot as last year which was too much :sunglasses: I stayed the whole week so even went to watch AC Milan v Roma Friday night. I have another job to do straight away when I get back to the yard so that’s another 3 week trip in Europe I have done this summer.

As for the racing, even though I had a pass to go in I watched it on a TV in a bar across the road from the track

Tilly can’t be that posh if she lives in Herne Bay.

i beg to disagree my god man…ive never had much of a problem anywhere more than 50 mile out from a western port.
for example.

I found 3 people in Belgium near Gwent.

well you can find a couple here and there anywhere, moreso if you park somewhere handy for them, but the closer to the ports then the worse the problem gets like flies attracted to dung.

Those Welsh get everywhere, time to reverse the tolls on the Severn crossings

Ouistreham is getting as bad as Calais, I see them jumping on the back of moving trailers on the roundabout near Esso, It surprises me how many trailers are unlocked,

You weren’t one of those noisy gits that turned up at the Hotel L’angolo at Carisio early hours of Monday morning and woke us up were you?
I’m going through the south tomorrow early, hopefully the unwashed immigrants will still be asleep in their trees.

I parked at Aire de Service de Sommesous. Went to sleep around 11pm, got up at 3:30am to check load again to see if anything looked different.

Drove 2hr down the road and stopped in another services to do final check as it was now daylight. Opened it all up including a padlocked (they must of picked it and someone else lock them back in) fridge and that’s when I found them. Five in total, let them climb out, gave them two bottles of water and said sorry lads your still in France.

Off they went, and after checking again off I went to the port.

So I parked 215 miles away and still had some get on the lorry.

id have had the door shut and the fridge at - 25 for a good while to make sure they want to get out pronto and no messing…youd easily be getting robbed on your own.

Ouittreham much better for driver. You can drive in dock, stop at waiting line, check everything .And if you found that no penslty and security help you.If you found after passport control in Calais that can get full penalty. But trailer must locked when driving all time.If driver not lock that own fault.

The fridge is mains power. Lucky I was parked with two others from my company so there was three of us stood there whilst they got out.

What happens at Calais, when the blighters swing open the back doors to crowd in - only to find about 50+ military-aged non-EU citizens already camped out in there?
