That roadtrain would not be ex Williams of Wigmore would it Dave? Just thinking same tag axle set up,ta,Pete
Just spoke to Pat Hazel who is driving the roadtrain,who says it wasn’t one of Williams of Wigmore,but one Johnnie Price bought from up North, and Andrew Bowen later converted the trailer to a tri-axle, which is parked just outside Leominster at a farm thes days.

Thats right Dave , quite a few drivers took that short cut via Leintwardine , think it was a saving of about 12 miles, and quite a lot of the locals complained as well ! Nice load of scrap from Shotton . regards Keith .

Used to be from Wigmore in Herefordshire,about 12 miles from Craven Arms Trevor. Dennis Williams packed up several years ago, fan ERF’s and a Leyland-Daf to finish.
