Rather than pay over the top buying through a contract I’m looking at getting a new Smart phone …
I need something with a decent size screen. I don’t really want an I-Phone I want something a bit bigger like my old Samsung Note GT-N7000… big screen, good for the internet.
Any thoughts

I stand corrected…there mostly down to £59-99 now in uk on fleabay…

The screen resolution doesn’t look as good and they take TF cards not SD ones.
What are they like for getting accessories? (Cases, chargers etc?)

They knock offs so most phone accessories stalls on markets will have something x
Sorry to hijack, but got a couple of numpty questions:
With dual sim, I presume you can have two totally separate numbers, from 2 separate networks?
Does anybody know if android can import albums etc from iTunes, and also can it do podcasts?
Quite tempted by these phones, am getting a bit bored with iphone, and android seems to be getting better and better
When I got my android tablet (wasn’t sure if I could justify an iPad) I put an SD card into my PC and trawled my files. Don’t buy cheap and nasty SD cards, false economy. Piled all my iTunes files straight across no issues

From looking at the eBay ad the dual sim just looks like it has both style sim holders (the older large size and the newer compact size) as opposed to running two numbers on the same handset.
There’s loads of free apps to run podcasts from the Google play store - some good, some bad but there’ll be one that suits you, you just have to find it!
If you mean music albums you’ve brought through iTunes then I don’t think there’s any way to transfer them across. If you have them saved as a mp3 file on your PC then all you do is drag and drop into the music file on your phone and they’ll play.
Personally I’ve found android to be better than apple but many apple fanboys would disagree. I’ve never liked something just because others think it’s fashionable.
Thanks for the quick reply. I must admit I am very tempted by that price - haven’t got that much stuff bought through iTunes, so might well take the plunge.

Apple devices are far to restrictive on what you can use on a apple handset. IE, its their stuff or nothing!
Android is far more less restrictive.
The phone of 2013 was an Android device, HTC in fact. I use both, my work phone is a company owned iphone4s, my own phone is an HTC.
I hate the iphone with a passion! Its been on the news tonite that rotten Apple have ballsed up a software update due to rushing it out, tossers.
If I could afford all things Apple, I’d never go near Microsoft or Android ever again

But I can’t afford them. So I use other things too.
Pc and laptop run windows. Galaxy tab 3 is android, but much prefer my iPhone. Got a 5 at the moment, due an upgrade and don’t get paid until next week.
I did a couple of nightschool courses a year or 2 back, photography only. We were put on iMacs despite over 95% of us in the room never having been on one before, after less than 10 minutes, we’d all got the gist.
Try telling that to a windows Vista user that’s just upgraded to Win 8
Yuck - I hate windows 8 with a passion. I think xp was the last decent version of windows, v7 was bloody awful in that all the drivers changed and half of the stuff we had in the office at the time no longer worked.
There’s a Lumia just launched with 2 Sims try expansys for it
