I have always made a comparison on this Trump ‘hate thread’ of him, his leadership, his policies, and his success compared to the sorry arsed state of affairs in our country with our govt and it’s so called leader.
It gives me no pleasure to appear that I am running my country down, being a true Brit patriot, but I am sick of the balls ups this crew is making with the result of making us a laughing stock…it HAS to stop one way or another.
The difference between me and the specific ‘‘political party brainwashed’’ amongst us is…. in essence I would be delighted if Starmer and Labour ran our country well….but it just ain’t happening.

It was not a Q and A press conference. It was a pre prepared speech from Trump about the re-introduction of the “Presidential Fitness Test”. He was reading a speech and also t(o be polite) ad-libbing it. If not “ad-libbing” maybe doing a “rambling old fart monologue” would be more accurate.
All major politicians have speeches written for them. Generally their day is spent doing proper government stuff, not writing, researching, and rewriting speeches.
Has Starmer fluffed a speech? Of course he has, and I expect the press to rip into him if/when he does. (Sausages)

But, just for a minute, assume that Starmer is as bad or worse at speaking than Trump? Would that make Trump more fluent? More cognisant of his surroundings?
No, It would leave Trump just as vague and rambling as ever, still changing his mind every time the wind shifts a little.
The intention he has seems like a good one. Stop US colleges paying athletes big sums to play for their teams, and so diverting funds into football etc and away from other other sports. A good idea.

so the engine warning light comes on because a component in the engine is having a hissy fit. pilot says there is engine trouble because that is all the instruments have told him. he isnt paid to be a mechanic so that is all he knows. A mechanic comes out swaps out the dodgy component and fixes the issue with in the hour. all good. the pilot and the mechanic have both done their jobs. The lazy statition comes along and cant be bothered to speak to the mechanic and find out what the issue actualy was so puts down engine failure causing all sorts of issues and you are surprised he got sacked because he didnt do his job properly. wow!
