Palestine is a partially recognised Sovereign State. 138 of the 193 UN member countries recognise it. Different countries recognised it at different times. 1988 onwards.
It has observer status in the UN.
April 2024 the UN had a vote on recognising it as a full member. The UK and Switzerland abstained. The US voted agaisnt and hence it was vetoed.
The UK does not currently recognise it as a country.
But so what? Why do you set so much store on it’s status in the UN?
