That Globetrotter still looks the part…a classic truck, beats an FH hands down anyday. Not sure about the bar above the lightbar though!!
I bet there are still thousands of drivers out there who would take one of them over a “modern day” truck anytime. I would.

This Ontime truck has now been laid up for the winter season.
It was used for Repats (European Car Breakdowns) during the busy summer season.
I had the sister truck to this from new and collected it from the Lohr factory but now have a newer Actros.
It was originally owned by the Automobile Association (hence you can now see the yellow paint in places) before Ontime took over the contract and inherited the AA fleet.
Ossie
Great Pic’s

I saw this fleet heading east through Holland on the A67/A2/E34 (Wed 10th Oct, 1115hrs), just by Eindhoven where they’re rebuilding the road and have put an up-and-over diversion in. IIRC there was 10 or 11 of you, also some Stardes trucks were nearby.
great pics matt.
funny, as i’m new here, and the pennies just dropped, we’ve worked together a couple of times
last time, we were having brekkie at the hotel in denmark, before going too meet the trucks coming in, swap over, and drive them down too the autohof, just short of the swiss border
