hiya,
Chris’ll most likely get to it first he’s only got to nip o’er the top Old Norm and me live ten days camel ride adrift and our Zimmer’s are of the non-turbo variety.
thanks harry long retired.
Don’t like the looks of them rolls of paper, hope when it comes to unload, they have a big forklift with the long nose in the front, and on the other brs lorry, is that a giant whisk for Harry’s wife, when he makes her a eggflip with whisky in it, or Advaaka?
These were at the Leyland Festival weekend just gone.

John

Had a little sit in SUB 701 at the Lincoln Farm Cafe the other day drove one just like her many moons ago and it sure brought it all back, tried to take pics of the stuff on show but i’m useless with a camera and not sure if i snapped anything or not, have’nt a clue how the thing works, think i’ll take up drawing/painting maybe i’d have a few memories then, but thanks to you guys at least what i’ve looked at appears on here, thanks John.

Hi Harry
You still managed to ■■■■ the old leg up and climb in then!!! good man, you should have took her for a spin. How was the trip across the lorry park, were you in a track laying vehicle? The last time I was at Lincoln Farm, ( many years ago ) it was like the tank training course on Salisbury plain.
cheers
John.

hiya,
Yes John my memories of the car park are it looking more like a moonscape, but on this occasion it was quite level, everyone remarked about it it must be 20 years since i was in digs there has’nt changed much but i noticed a bar of sorts in the place, as for climbing in the old Octopus i did need oxygen and as for taking it for a spin i doubt if i could pull the steering about used to struggle when i was a youngster but did have to have a second man who used to give you a bit of help if the need arose.
thanks harry long retired.
hiya,
Yes Norm lifes all go have’nt got time to take a breath will be needing a shot of your puffer before long, by the way have returned the camera to the box under the stairs it is sitting alongside a Tom Tom sat nav thing which i can’t understand and several other electronic gadgets bought over the years like i’ve said before Norm i should have been apprenticed to George Stephenson could have managed with a big hammer and a bucket of rivets.
thanks harry long retired.
Knowing you Harry, its a wonder you have not got steam radio & tv, anything with butons and electric, you seem to blow a fuse, but keep on trying Harry you will get there in the end.■■?

hiya,
Norm just can’t understand modern technology and don’t really want to, it tends to make my head hurt.
thanks harry long retired.
Harry if you done a survey on how many ex-Brs driver can use a computor, I think you would be surprised, so all you have to do, is improve you knowledge on useful gadgets, and it makes your life a lot easier , just with the laptop & phone, I keep in touch with my daughter every day, wherever they are, recieve photo’s of my grandaughters, my wife tell me to send a text, and finds its a good thing, but can’t do it herself, but when I recieve one, and I am in the garden doing something, I have taught her how to read the the incomming mail, then brings it to me to send a answer.

hiya,
Norm people try to show me how to live in this so called technological age but the interest just is’nt there i lose interest they lose patience,so long as i can get on line and send a message or post something on here that’ll do for me , if i did’nt live in a smokeless zone i’d be happy to communicate using smoke signals would be cheaper than BT, too old to change Norm sorry.
