BRIDGE STRIKES.

Kinda amazing how clean that has come off, very little damage well apart from the roof laying on the road that is

Just like Live and Let Die!

It ain’t just trucks.

There’s an echo in here…

surely th latest addition to the city centre tour bus fleet?,weld on a handrail, and stick some wifey with a microphone, and job done…no doubt itl be scrapped, and they will pay about Ā£120 grand for someone to rip the roof off of a new one, :unamused:

heard a rumor the driver thought he was cliff Richard and could be heard singing "wirral going on a summer holiday " just before he hit

Is (sorry, was…) that a double dekker?? and a 14’ bridge?? :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Not too bad, he’s still got a pallet upright on the back!!

To be fair, they could have marked the bridge a bit better…

Have to disagree, I think the signs and markings are plenty.

Just how many signs do you have to put on a bridge before a driver will take notice?

Scaniaman probably did a very good job himself of marking it!

Looks marked enough to me. As a double decker driver I tend to ā– ā– ā– ā–  my pants going towards EVERY bridge, keeps me safe.

what is the overall height?

Hi, 4m10. :-/

If you are travelling through mainland Europe the bridge height limit is 4.0m except for Spain and France which are in general 4.2m, here in the UK the limit is 5.03m

Any driver striking a bridge should be banned from hgv, at least stop and have a look if unsure or buy a tomtom truck nav never takes me near them. best 300 spent.
