Well, if they are overwhelming all going in one direction, then maybe they prove, that as predicted by many experts it was a bad move?
And since it isn`t all over yet (no matter what you and others keep repeating) then the next stages, and the re-negotiations due in a couple of years, will be influenced by our opinions? It might be a bit optimistic to expect that, but we can only hope.

As for literature,.I tend to lean more towards the works of Kipling.
