Don’t spoil it for them with positivity ffs, they’re on a roll.
Just heard an article on the news about this. It must be terrible news to the glass half fullers amongst us. My condolences.
The BBC reported that the Mackems and the Geordies that work there are so thankful to Nissan they’re learning Japanese out of respect .
It was said that workers could be heard shouting Oriental phrases like…
‘‘Hey hinnie hoya hamma howa’’

Thanks for telling me actually what I think, feel, and accept , but I hope your driving skills are a lot better than your perceived clairvoyancy skills .
I’m assuming your theory on who would or would not vote for whatever are along the same lines, where as I prefer to concentrate on what DID happen, rather than on what COULD have happened.
Well I did specifically leave you out of the folk who decided on leave based on the fallacies they were being told, just for arguments sake. My driving skills are okay I guess, haven’t needed to turn a steering wheel for a living for a long time now.
I actually have no dog in the fight, so don’t really care either way, save for the circus Brexit has turned out to be. But I would prefer that any such election, which does play a bigger role in the greater EU politics, would be held without misinformation from either side. I see you don’t share that view, I guess democracy is not for everyone.
Saw this question today & thought I’m sure someone amongst the TNUK Intellectual Glitterati would know the answer to this:-
"I thought that whole point of Brexit was for Britain to be able to ■■■■■ worker’s rights. If the UK government can’t do that then what was the point of Brexit?"
To be fair I think the UK government are planning this in the next few weeks, but nevertheless, it’s still a valid question

Seems they simply want to go one step further. Why ■■■■■ workers rights when you can just ■■■■■ workers. Such efficiency by Boris The Great ■■■■

Is your in-box full?
Are all the responses explaining why our rights and pay will respected and maintained going direct to you, instead of being posted here?
No replies Franglais, so I guess the question that matters most to those struggling, is how bad things must get before those who most vocally supported Brexit are willing to break ranks and admit the truth: that leaving the world’s largest trading bloc has immediate & devastating consequences.
Govt advice to relocate businesses to the EU is also an eye-opener: it is beginning to look like Brexit was not about winning back control from the EU but investing in it to survive.
Another straw on the camel’s back
“Mastercard to increase fees for UK purchases from EU” amp.ft.com/content/39f553a0-00c … 9fd75554b0
Card transactions will cost more, adding to consumer expense, adding to cost of living again.
Cheers for the NUMEROUS clips and vids etc Franglais that you share with us to make your points.
Here’s a short one from me, that I reckon applies to you in the context of Brexit,.which just about says it all . youtu.be/sidaA8W0m00

More news from the ‘sunlit uplands’…GKN Birmingham to close…500 jobs lost…truly, we are ‘prospering mightily’ post-Brexit!
Anyone got any more good news?
I used to work for GKN Driveline at their site in Aldridge. Just for a few months, via an agency. They were in the process of closing the plant. Some moved over to the Hardy Spicer plant in Birmingham but many lost their jobs. Some jumped before they were pushed which is where I, as an engineering contractor, came in.
You gonna blame that on Brexit too (was over 10 years ago). This company was the subject of a hostile takeover in 2018. New owners always want to cut costs. Look at Asda, those 2 clowns haven’t even bought the place yet and they’re looking at asset stripping it.
And then there’s the massive downturn in the automotive sector due to COVID. I don’t think you can attribute this to Brexit.
You must feel really bitter trying to tie everything to Brexit. Cheer up, at least we haven’t got to share 25 million vaccines between 480 million people
The announcement comes on the same day as industry figures showing UK car production had fallen to its lowest level since 1984 last year - blamed largely on disruption and depressed demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
A spokesman said: "Proposing this closure is a difficult decision which has been made despite significant effort and investment over the past 10 years to reduce the high operating costs at the Birmingham assembly site.
So they’ve been trying to turn this place around for 10 years. No wonder they want rid, especially after COVID.
GKN played down the possibility that Brexit was a factor in the proposal to close the plant.
My neighbour has a old donkey in the field next to my house. It died last week. Must have been stupid brexit. If only we hadnt have left the EU it would have still been alive!
Stupid Brexit!

My microwave was a bit dodgy last night, took ages to warm up my Kung Pow chicken and home made rice pudding …Bloody Brexit. (Gave the cold Ginsters and can of Lilt a miss last night. )
Of course they’re going to tie everything to Brexit, they’re loving it man, leave them alone it’s amusing listening to them.
Bitterness and frustration is a strange thing, I often see it in my toddler Grandson when he doesn’t get his own way, it’s the same thing .
Love the way the EU have also spit their dummies out because their vaccination contingency plans were ■■■■ poor In comparison to the UK.
They want us to contribute in their shortfall? …Did I read that right?
See Switzerland, or is it Sweden (who cares) are making noises expressing a possible Brexit style move, looks like the rot has set in.
I do wish these remainer doom mongers will look at the bigger picture about the EUs ultimate destination and stop focusing on short term benefits, Angela Merkel has openly said that the EU is aiming towards a united states type system where all member states are operating as one big single country. Couple this with more expansion (trust me, the EU isn’t going to say ‘that’s it now, we’re big enough and don’t any more enlargement’) and the fact that newer countries will NOT be the more prosperous states like Norway or Switzerland, isn’t going to make things any better. Then there’s the cabotage thing, I can see that being scrapped and allowing trucks to operate in any other member state without limits, imagine what that will do to our domestic haulage industry, if you think it’s bad enough now with this ‘race to the bottom’ culture then how will it be in 10-15 years time if we had remained.
I’m not saying the EU is all bad, but I genuinely believe that it should have stayed as it was…a trading bloc. The way it’s gone now I think that leaving is the lesser of the 2 evils.
Hey…don’t diss Carryfast’s wheels man.
Good analogy or metaphor though for the EU Luke.
Leyland did market it as an honest and reliable car, which would work FOR you, but in reality you got stuck with it,.and it cost you a fortune ., so you did your best to get shot of it.

Oh wait .
Austin Allegro introduced in 1973 the brave new car for the brave new world as a newly joined EU member state.
