The time it’s started is irrelevant but breakfast is important. You won’t have eaten for some time, hence breaking the fast, and your blood sugar levels will be low. Eating will get you ready & make you more alert for the work to come. The problem with eating a big meal late, as we tend to do, is that we don’t then have the chance to burn it off.
As for losing weight it’s fairly simple, eat a little less & get a little more exercise, you don’t have to be a gym queen, a brisk 20 min walk will help. You don’t need to drop loads of weight fast, it will only return when you revert to your old ways. If you only dropped 1lb a week that’s 3st 10lbs in a year, achievable with only minor changes to your diet.
