coffee i cant view your photos any idea why mateI’d have asked him if he’d been a sad [zb] all his life…painting the dash■■? Spent 10K of his money? What a plank…He shouldn’t be driving trucks he’s not safe to be let out on his own…
Nice to know that freedom of choice still exists except with the ■■■■■■■■■ who populate internet forums.
How do you know how much he was on? 10K might be nothing to him.
Everybody just drive a plain white truck and then the knobbers on here will have nothing to moan about.
Blinged up trucks, matter of personal choice, some look good, some go too far.

Can,t be arsed to drag through 4 pages of an old thread, so has anybody touched on what happens when a self financed bling motor is involved in an accident, we have these guys where I work, and I would bet a weeks pay that the co, being as tight as a duck,s arse, wouldn,t fork out for lights and Kelsas if a full on accident happened, so why do they do it??.. / Note… Before anybody who knows me on here jumps and points out the Hellas & Kelsa on my motor, it was bought second hand with it all on, and if there had been any suggestion of me paying for them, it would have been booked in at garage to remove them,…so there!
in my opinion, it would depend upon who’s fault the accident was, if it was the driver’s fault, then the driver should pay for the bling that has been damaged, if the bling has been purchased by the driver due to the company being ‘as tight as a duck,s arse’ as you so eloquently put it
on the trucks that i run, the light bars and such, i have paid for, not the drivers, if the truck is involved in an accident that has resulted in damage to the light bars, then, the insurance pays out for them to be replaced
I’ve had flags in the rear window as it blocks out the sun but it doesnt help with blindspot in cf cab. I’ve got a Canadian plate on the grille and my name painted on drivers door but none of this cost me a penny. I bought my cb after a few years of not having one as I was fed up with paying out on broken antennas, now firm recognises benefits of cbs any pays for these. Spotlights are stupidly priced inho.

Benton Brothers - Drivers have swopped holidays for bullbars, lightbars and the like for years. Sad but true.

Maguires of Cheltenham; They swapped wages for bling
what a load of b******s
I worked 8 years for a Belgian transport company that specialised In Transporting fresh & frozen produce between Benelux/France & Scandinavia. All of the trucks had Bullbars & Lightbars, as they were a necesserty(spelling) while driving In remote locations In Scandinavia. The boss never asked any of the drivers to pay for anything extra that he added to the trucks. As for wages,Id never earned so much money while working for him…
Flags in the back window of tippers; Great for keeping the sun out but they flap about when running with both windows open. I like those wall rugs but they’re expensive.

so is this fact, just the latest myth of month…
just for the record, my late dad, who worked for benton’s, only paid for one item that was affixed to the truck, a set of air horn’s, nowt fancy, they were buried at the back of the cab. he only bought them 'cause of the crap horn fitted to the merc he had, well was just… well crap
i’m not sure about the other driver, but the xf he was given when he started, had a light bar, and a set of air horn’s, dad wasn’t fussed about keeping them, the last user of the truck couldn’t put them on as he got a different truck. before the bar and horn’s could be removed, dad ended up on a mega space. i believe the bar got sold to another driver, and the horn’s went to another…

Wheel Nut:
I wasn’t having a go at you Carl, every truck I have ever seen that you drive has been split mint which I can appreciate. Everyone’s idea of Bling is different, this is my idea of a tidy outfit.
Cheers Franksie
