Not sure how painting your dash and putting poncey curtains in the truck shows you take a pride in the jobā¦to me being polite, punctual( as far as you can be) and treating the people you deal with with respect (and yes I know lots of them are ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā is a sign of respect.
I donāt equate respect for the job with a row of spotlights on a chrome bar/curtains/painting dash (who sees that but yourself anyway!) I donāt give a toss about such things so I doubt very much whether the customer you are delivering to does. They probably just think āyes another poserāā¦

Would you take a job just to get a blinged up truck?Remember reading somewhere recently that drivers from a company (canāt remember which one, wasnāt a big firm though) had agreed to give up a week (or 2) holiday pay in exchange for the company fitting light bars to the trucks.
Just made me think about how desperate some people must be to have a blinged truckā¦
Do you have a contact number for the firm please?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with males getting in touch with their feminine side. We live in an equal fair and diverse society and mocking their cab decorations could be viewed as being discriminatory.
Iām currently working on a range of potted plants that donāt soil the cab when you navigate a roundabout.
