Blimey, a first for me!

Lol, most of our street cleared from their car to the road but that’s all, me my old man and my brother cleared a big chunk of the road, the pavement 25yds in either direction and our drive, all I meant was you used to see it a lot as soon as it snowed.

Now then, this lass need any more help…?

Hi all.To 49er.forgive me for appearing rude but i fail to see how '‘this answers my question’'as you put it.i was always under the assumption that in a developed country the individual or corporation paid taxes such as income, road, and council tax to the government to be used for the benefit of the community and the individual to maintain and improve the economic and social welfare of the individual and community and provide a good quality of life of same.
ifail to see what having to sit at home because the business and social structure has come to a grinding halt because of administrative incompetence or having to eat bread and jam because the supermarket shelves are empty adds to a quality of life.
you pay taxes for a valid reason.to enjoy living where you do.
let them be used for that. take care mike :

Thats the problem, in some places there aint no grub on the shelves as wagons are stuck on roads such as the A57 for days, one or two gritters every other day isn’t going to keep roads clear. And all this is down to costs depending on what post code you live in.

Driver-once-more. Yes I know Paul Pamplin, he left August last year… I wonder, did he know something?
Got a good load out today one or two brought some back (and some Agency out late) Mainly in the sticks to the North of Lincoln and a few farm tracks
The snow stayed off until we locked up now its a blizzard.

What, in the snow? That’s a bit ■■■■■ is it not? You’ll be trying to pocket the blue balls then eh? :stuck_out_tongue:

Today we’re all going out on locals, double manned, might prove to be an interesting day.

We was asked if we would go out on our own and we all said NO!
