I think you all ought to get out more :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Well we would if YOU were prepared to sign us all out of the “secure accomodation” and take us all on a jolly boys outing! I’ll tell you what you’d be more than relieved when you were back at the “hospital” and handing us all back to Matron! Well thats supposing you got us all back!! Bewick.

You would be back on time carryfasts driving the coach and it’s got a 950hp v12 two stroke Detroit in it

But if “plod” saw “carryfast” behind the wheel they’d assume that the inmates had hi-jacked the coach and he’d get slung in the black moria! Then we’d defo be in the smelly stuff as none of us has a PSV 'ave we Jon!! Parked up “high and dry” no driver!

This Sherpa is just about your 'barra “carryfast” only after we put a Morris Oxford diff into it, it would do70mph in 3rd before you dropped into top so maybe this would have been a tad to sharp for you son!!

I thought he was going to say that he ordered it with an 8LXB in it and it was the only time Leyland ever turned down a sale because the motor was to big to fit in it. :open_mouth:

IIRC they were.

Youv’e given me an idea there CF,maybe we could have slotted a Gardner 4LK into the Sherpa, now there’s a thought,it would have run on the smell of derv!! Cheers Bewick.

We had a sherpa diesel when I worked at Millars. It had three engines under warranty. It was gutless. It was also hard enough to steer without putting any 4lk weight on the front of it Dennis.

Aye must admit the Sherpa was a bag of (zb)!! But you don’t back down to “carryfast” or he’d overun the (zb) thread!! We only ever had the one Sherpa but had IIRC 5 Merc vans over the years, never had a minutes trouble with any of them, like driving a car, bootiful!! Cheers Dennis.
