Best sit com ever?

user name says it .

Not strictly a sit-com but the “comic strip presents” was always worth watching.

Sir LANs-a-lot:
Peep Show” - Bit of a niche/cult comedy that was shown on Channel 4 late at night. It might take you a few episodes to “get it” if you’ve never seen it. And you should watch it from series one, episode one - and then continue in episode/series order. Once you “get it” it does have some great comedy moments.

The one where Mark gets married was bloody hilarious.

Dave the Renegade:
Rab C Nesbitt was another that was hilarious.

Very funny but some parts where very deep and poignant as well.

Excellent.

Another show where comedy was used to its fullest extent was the final episode of “Blackadder goes forth” where they go “over the top”

Pure genius.

Probably not to everyone’s tastes here, but I really like The Big Bang Theory, as it seems that they just observed a bunch of my friends and wrote about them - all the scientists I know are huge nerds too, and soemeof the conversations and interactions I’ve seen with them have been on TBBT, so geekness must be universal.

Still love watching Morecambe and Wise whenever some obscure channel decides to show them.

I love TBBT as well, but the rest of the family can’t stand it, good job I’m on my own most nights. Also like How I met your mother - not always laugh out loud stuff, but good entertainment.

Does anybody on here listen to Cabin Pressure on the radio? If freightdog knows it, just how realistic are the flight deck games? Think John Finnemore is going to be one of our greatest writers in years to come - his diatribe on legal aid reform was brilliant!

I like big bang aswell, ive started getting into the goldburns lately, its about a family in the 90s on e4

Thumbs up to the big bang theory from me too.
