Bell lines newport

chalkie wales:
havnt seen a post on here for a while just wondering have any of the new lads on here have some pics…

I haven’t got any photos of Bell Lines trucks but I have plenty of one of their container ships that used to run from Vicky deep water terminal in London to Waterford. She was built in '69 and was called the Bell Cavelier. She is still going strong, well not that strong to be honest and I was on her for two years until January this year, now in the log trade on the Scottish west coast for JST of Ayr.

BEVANS, SCAMMELL, LATER PASSED ONTO Geo Beer, SWANSEA.

EX BEVANS, IN GEO BEER LIVERY, THE SMALL T45 IS EX FREIGHTLINERS.

be good to see the ship…

Seen her in her latest guise as Red Duchess

And here as the Cavalier, although not in such a picturesque setting, ie Belfast… Not my picture but credit ‘Robtur’ and taken before the accommodation was altered.
