Flys quicker than you know it. I’ve been passed 2 years 4 months near enough and my mate in Jan 3 years he’s been passed.

I honestly don’t know where the last few years have gone, time seems to fly by so quickly now.

10 or so years ago and a lot of things seemed so far away. Now I’m the wrong side of 40 and it seems to be moving faster faster every day.

I tell you what, you think time flies now, wait until you spend more time peeing than you do sleeping and it takes longer to chew a steak pie than it takes to bake it [emoji14]

Is that when a quick drive round the parade square in a Bedford qm was a pass.

Had mine 25years.

35 years…

Add on 6 years which includes bunking off school to ride around in Leyland Clydsedales, Scammels and F88s.

Me and a mate drove round the M25 on it’s second day of being fully open doing ridiculous speeds in his Capri 3 litre S.

i think we queued to get through the pipe even back then

Your all sprogs. 49 years ago I started bright eyed and bushy tailed. finally hung up the licence last october  knees have gone thebeardedone

I’ve had to get the abacus out, but I passed my HGV I over 40 years back…
Ford D Series 6 speed with 33ft tandem flat trl.
Started learning about proper transport* a few months later, no one was keen on 21year old, new passes then too, so took a while to get a start.
But, although I enjoy a good moan, (I’m a driver, it’s compulsory) transport has been ok for me.

*flats, rope’n’sheet, crash boxes, no power steering, no sleepers, etc

I feel the same mate :unamused: , 1979 I passed my Class 1 :open_mouth: .
My age bears no resemblance to the way I feel…(or hopefully look.
You decide…)
