Actually it was in a Scammel Commander in Fallingbostel in Germany.

38 now, had my brief 17 years in a fortnight. Doesn’t feel that long to be honest
Class three passed in 1976. Class one in 1988.

After thinking about it for about 6 months I finally took mine in January 1997 just as the law changed and I had to do class 2 first and then class 1,what a dummer
