I’ve just changed trucks from a Volvo FH to a Merc MP4. The bed measures 220cm X 75cm X 10cm. A standard single bed sheet turns the mattress into a banana!!
Anyone know where you can get fitted sheets for these?
Many thanks in advance

buy a double and tuck it under - problem solving at its finest
I find that after lying down on it it settles down anyway, but that could be my weight.

I used to buy my bedding from ikea for the merc i used to drive. Its bigger than normal and fitted the bed no hassel.
However you need to take your night out gear to IKEA with you cos you will never find your way out before you are due a break. Google ‘I fear IKEA’ by the Lancashire Hotpots. It is so true!
Or by a flat sheet tuck it in all round job done or make 1 to fit
get a kingsize duvet cover put it inside and turn it sideways, tuck the rest out the way
You can get them from Mercedes truck dealerships.

True if you are delivering to Ikea Warrington or Gateshead.
I’ve done a few nights out recently for Wincanton (Heinz Wigan), and I find the bunk on the big Actros pretty comfy, but they are a crap truck to drive.
And if you are tall and have long legs like me, they are not the comfiest to drive. That bloody dashboard where the handbrake sits mithers the death out of my left knee.
Some good ideas there. Cheers folks.
I bought a standard size single bottom sheet from Asda for mine. Doesn’t fit perfect but it’s more than good enough.
I had exactly the same problem with mine.
I found some fitted single bedsheets in Dunelm Mill, they said on the packaging that they had (I think) 20cm deep sides on them, if not that, it said extra deep sides, well ive got one on mine now and it fits a treat. Good price as well.
I use a double quilt with king size cover tuck the excess under bed then fold over so lie on half with the other over

Lift the bottom bunk and secure it to the back wall and then use the lever next to the seat adjuster to give you more legroom.
Thanks for the tip Scottie!

Every few seconds you also have to breathe!
Sorry but as we tied for last years Newbie awards, I had to get the dig in!
After tomorrow Beez I have been instructed to no longer associate with temporary labour. So I don’t mind you slipping an offensive blow in mate. Make sure you charge your phone tonight…you never know, there could be a days work for you tomorrow!

Good for you pal, and as a lanky pile of excrement myself, I tend to flick the backrest upright and then move the seat back, so to me I can instantly see if the bunk is interfering with my chosen backrest recline… You obviously do it different!
Don’t you worry about my metaphorical or actual limp mate, I had the same gig booked in for this week last Wednesday, I limp with style!
I even whibbled about being given my 3rd different trailer in a week (After I’d sorted out the lack of maintenance on the first 2 ) and orders have been passed down to give me back the last trailer I did maintenance on so it benefits me, and not some other bugger in the yard!
I actually do currently have a limp!
It’s why I did the bloody maintenance…

How bloody tall are you EagerB ?
I’m 6’ 1’’ of pure Hunk beefcake myself, and I manage ok.
On the other hand I have the seat right down with the air dumped, and the back jammed against the bunk. As apart from it sitting up in the air far too bloody high, you tend to look a bit of a ■■■■ sat right up there I reckon, and I am too self aware of my cool image as you know.
My biggest problem with the Actros is unless you are a 7’ tall Kenyan Maasai warrior tribesman you can not reach the back of the cab side cupboard, but in your case if your legs touch the handbrake you may be ok with it.
