Bedding for Merc Actros

I’ve done a few nights out recently for Wincanton (Heinz Wigan), and I find the bunk on the big Actros pretty comfy, but they are a crap truck to drive.

And if you are tall and have long legs like me, they are not the comfiest to drive. That bloody dashboard where the handbrake sits mithers the death out of my left knee.

How bloody tall are you EagerB ? :open_mouth:
I’m 6’ 1’’ of pure Hunk beefcake myself, and I manage ok.
On the other hand I have the seat right down with the air dumped, and the back jammed against the bunk. As apart from it sitting up in the air far too bloody high, you tend to look a bit of a ■■■■ sat right up there I reckon, and I am too self aware of my cool image as you know.

My biggest problem with the Actros is unless you are a 7’ tall Kenyan Maasai warrior tribesman you can not reach the back of the cab side cupboard, but in your case if your legs touch the handbrake you may be ok with it.

Just think at least you can reach some of the side locker unlike me

Haha, I am 6’ 4" of even more honed muscle Rob!

In a Scania I look like a giant riding a Kinder egg toy. But in a Daf CF I almost look normal.

You’d look like a right prune in a Gigaspace Actros.

Lol. As of today Radar, the Daf XF is my new workplace, which is fine by me as I find them nice to drive and very spacious/comfy.

Is that the new model? Super Space?

Yeah. Nice piece of kit mate. And it congratulates my driving.

Unlike Mrs B.
