used to own a mobile crane myself many years ago so thoroughly enjoyed it , especially when i twigged that the daf rigid used to move the statue was the very same daf drawbar i used to operate at christian salvesen in northampton , low proflile tyres and all round air suspension including the front axle, great motor if you knew how to use it. had 2 sets of swap bodies then, 1 set of double deckers and 1 set of c+d bodies c/w tail lift.
I’ve just watched it on catch up and it was alright at best. Crofty did well turning out that rigid in next to no time
