Might be an interesting watch, better than x factor surely …
Thank`s for that will watch, ex banksman.
Nearly time for x factor…how many of us will end up watching the crane programe in the spare room ? Me for one …
Will also watch the crane programme,WTF would be wrong with entertainment from entertainers at the weekends.
Theres a member on here who mentioned to look out for it a while ago. Thanks for the heads up
Well, I have just watched this program about Ainscoughs and I would say the work is obviously more dangerous than Stobarts, but they didn’t make the same amount of fuss. Funny that.
That was a right good watch. Is it some sort of series or a one off? Felt for the guy living in his car for 5 weeks that is hard going.
Decent watch , they have it tough especially the bloke in the Chrysler , I wonder if the vans have a night heater ? Wouldn’t mind 1 of the “heavys” salary lol

70k-80k that really surprised me. Those sprinter vans look well kitted out heard them say they have wifi fitted.

Aye decent whack , at first I thought we don’t have it to bad until I seen inside the vans properly kitted out like u say wifi etc , would be no good sharing with someone who was a snorer lol
Good watch, none of the stobart will they get done in time crap.
Wouldn’t mind 70k but I wouldn’t tramp Sunday to Saturday so it’s not for me.

Just watched it on iPlayer, introduced some of the material for next time.
Enjoyed that - will watch next week too!
I’ve just watched it on iPlayer to, interesting program and definitely worth watching.
Thanks for letting us know about it.
Yep, much better than crap factor.
It was a good program, but why did they feel the need to blur Ainscough out in some shots but not others [POUTING FACE][POUTING FACE]
Breedy.

BBC cannot advertise any companies, which is bizarre in the case of this programme as its about Ainscough!!
Brother in law works on the heavies there, Think I might tap him up for a few quid now I know he is on 70K a year!! mind you its slightly different to tramping , away for 5-6 weeks minimum only home odd nights and sleep in the vans!!
Not a bad programme, but like the Steady Eddie programme they edited it badly-, Like the lads going home after the derailment lift- so no-ones going to derig the Mammoett crane then? . and similar to the Eddie programme some of the commentary was a bit over the top, making a crisis out of nothing. But it was watchable. A lot of stuff is left out that anyone who has worked on heavy cranes would spot instantly, but the programme is made for the enjoyment of the general public- not those in the business, again a bit like the Eddie programme
